Things you must know. Check the college before admission. It feels like a haunted villa.

Placements: We are the first batch in artificial intelligence. So without giving us a chance, they place us in group B, which means not all companies come for us. In simple words, they just want more students and more fees, so they introduce a new batch to get it.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students. Labs do not have working computers, and the computers that work do not have updated software. The library is the only good facility. There are no sports, medical, or games facilities. Even the mess and canteen food are too expensive and of low and poor quality.

Faculty: They schedule the exams in the worst way possible. They change the academic calendar 1–2 weeks prior, which leads to confusion and stress. In fact, we follow NAP, but still have to give 2 UT exams. Teachers are not considerate towards our exams; they just want to follow old-school rules rather than teach things important from a company’s point of view. For example, we study Indian Knowledge System and Environmental Studies for no reason.

It has the worst placements and average faculty.

Placements: A total of 76 students are available in my course. We don't get any companies, but we have been told that we can sit with IT and CS students for placement. The package offered ranges from 4 LPA to more than 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Colgate-Palmolive, and Deloitte hire students. Only 20 students got internships from other courses. We have the same role as for IT and CS students and not special like software engineer, developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, but the network is slow. There are many labs, but PCs are old. Classrooms are big and well-ventilated with CCTV facilities. The library has good books. In the hostel, the food quality is worst. Medical facilities are okay. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated, but some of them do not know how to teach. The course curriculum is relevant, but we only learn theory, not practical knowledge. The course curriculum is similar to that of other departments like IT and CS. Semester exams are moderate. Students should score above 45 to pass exams. Staff members are good.

Other: I chose this course because I got it. The information we study is good. We learn good theory knowledge, but for practical ones, we don't have as much as AI students do. There is no practical thing, so we have to learn for our course. So we have to learn about practical knowledge from the start, rather than theory. It gives us more options about jobs and describes them. Fests and events held are good. The scholarship process is good.
