I'm satisfied with college placements as well as with staff.

Placements: I think about 70% of students got placed from my college and the highest package is of 7 LPA-8 LPA and the lowest is Rs. 40,000- Rs. 50,000 per month. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Zomato, and many more. Mostly hotel management students get internships in abroad countries like 5 star hotels.

Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure and facilities it is awesome that all the classes are air-conditioned and ventilated. Infrastructure is good they made eco friendly things which could not disturb environment too and seems attractive. The quality of food is also improved now it also has good dedicated facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful to us. They are very friendly with students and help them to explore their potential. Semester exams are quite tough which helps student prepare for the final exams which is a good thing also student get ready more better.

Other: I am in BCA and I think more than 4000 students are doing this. The best thing about my course is it provides better job opportunities and becomes a code nothing could be improved in this course everything this is perfectly managed by faculty members. There are many fest organized by university to entertain students and they become good in studies as well as in socialising.

Not very good placements but nice faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: Chitkara University achieves 90-95% placements in BCA with packages ranging from 3 LPA - 20 LPA. The average package varies between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and Wipro offer roles such as software developer and data analyst. 80% of students secure internships at firms like Microsoft and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Chitkara University offers Wi-Fi, advanced computer labs, smart classrooms, and a vast library. Hostels are secure with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and power backup. The mess serves hygienic food. Medical care is excellent. Sports facilities include cricket, football, badminton, and a gym.

Faculty: Chitkara University teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They offer excellent teaching quality with practical learning. The BCA curriculum is industry-relevant, focusing on IT trends. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty with a high pass percentage of 90-95%.

Other: I chose BCA because it was in my field of interest. I wish it had more value though. Fests and everything are very good here.

Good infrastructure and vibrant events, but placement opportunities are limited.

Placements: I am 2nd year BCA student at Chitkara University. Placement situations are average. Even 40% student of our department are not placed. Was part of the BCA 2023-26 batch. Placements are average. Only around 40-45% of students got placed. The highest package is around 5 LPA, the lowest is 2.8 LPA, and the average is about 4 LPA. Few got internships in small local companies, not big names.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good campus size is around 100 acres. Our department has decent Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a good library. Hostel facilities are average, food in the mess and canteen is okay but not great. Basic medical facilities are available. Sports and games options are decent.

Faculty: Faculty members are not well. Focus on theory subjects, not practical subjects. Coding culture is also very bad. Faculty members are not very helpful or skilled. The focus is mostly on theory, with very little practical exposure. Coding culture is poor. The curriculum is outdated and not industry-ready. Semester exams are average in difficulty, and the pass rate is around 90-85%.

Other: This campus is not situated in Chandigarh. Chitkara University is in rajpura Punjab whom are 40km far away from Chandigarh.

Dissatisfied with the college. The worst nightmare one can ever have.

Placements: No good companies were coming for BCA in Chitkara. Call centres were approaching a one-room company with no reputation. My uncle is the CEO of a renowned company, and my mentor asked me to place some of the students there. There is no standard for companies coming here. My CGPA was 9.4, and I couldn't sit in the placements because no teaching companies were approaching. Many companies, like Amazon, have also blacklisted Chitkara because of its poor management and level of teaching.

Infrastructure: As a hosteller, the food was awful. The wardens are too strict. It is like a jail where you are trapped and there is no way to go. It is an absolute waste of money, resources and time. The mentors are not at all helpful and only care about the attendance records.

Faculty: The teaching quality is poor. Only one or two teachers know what they are actually teaching. The rest just come, open their PowerPoints, recite them as if we can not read them, take attendance and go. There were no roadmaps provided or explained if a student wanted to pursue some language or career path. I don't recall the teachers even telling us which of the career paths we could choose. The only focus was on theory; please don't expect that you will get any practical knowledge from there.

Other: The only good thing about Chitkara is its beautiful campus, which is of no use when there are no placements.

Absolutely amazing infrastructure and students are placed by their performance.

Placements: About 20 percent students were placed by their performance top companies are the Amazon, Wipro company top roles offered by our course to develop the coding skills the highest package was the 25 LPA offered in our course and it can be taken by the skill performance.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in the course is that it helps to learn the deep knowledge of the basics of the computer in various languages. There are many computer labs and professional labs for the development of the course. And to get well knowledge about coding.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful and can make you study well in your subjects. The teaching quality is good and understandable. There is not much difficulty if you study well, and the semester exams are not difficult if you study in their sessional test because from there you can get good marks.

Other: The specialty of this college is there are many events in this college conducted every day. Many celebrities or the entrepreneur come to share their life experience.

Chitkara is not good at studies.

Placements: Around 25% of students got placed in Chitkara. Placement is a big scam. They scam on CTC and in-hand salary. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA for BCA graduates. They provide internships in call centers and very low profile jobs roles are offered like BDE, junior software developer, etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Deloite.

Infrastructure: Colleges are well-constructed at the place where outside visits are more. Classrooms do not have air conditioners. Hostels are very costly and not clean. Chitkara is like a school. Labs are fewer and students are more.

Faculty: The teaching quality is not good. Subjects are not good and don't have value in the industry. Professors just take salaries. They don't care about the syllabus. They just need files. They don't teach practical subjects. Semester exams are good without cheating. Exams are conducted in a well environment.

Other: I chose BCA after seeing the Chitkara advertisement online, but they spread misleading information about college life and studies. It is like a school. Events are good. Chitkara keeps on conducting events frequently. BCA in Chitkara would be improved by adding practical subjects rather than theory and hiring good quality staff.
