University is good, needs some improvement in schedule and little bit in faculty, tests are good.
Placements: Companies are coming to college, placement is good, but it depends on you and your skills. The highest package is more than 1 crore per annum, you can easily get a placement. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, IBM, Microsoft, etc. My friend got a placement at Infosys and another at Accenture.
Infrastructure: The main campus is very well made and the infrastructure is unbeatable, but I have given 3 stars because the classes for BCA are held in another campus, which is not that good, small, and is 5km away from the main campus. The facilities provided are good, and the Wi-Fi has a very high speed.
Faculty: Faculty is good, but I feel the classes scheduled are too much, and very few holidays, and there is an attendance problem. Semester exams are easy, and the passing percentage depends on average marks, you can easily pass with good grades if you attend classes seriously.

The worst college campus and the infrastructure. Faculty is good.
Placements: The placements are very low and okay. On advertisements, they mention big placement packages, but those are only 1 or 2 students getting that out of 10, so don't get attracted to that quickly. Check the campus before enrolling.
Infrastructure: The worst infrastructure ever, they will trick you by showing only one block of the South campus, but then at the end they will say go to the out campus, 7 km away from the main campus, if you do BCA, MCA, from CU. Big lies and the worst marketing tactics. Be aware of this.
Faculty: The faculty, on the other hand, is really good and supportive. They really guide and help in every aspect, even in studies or life mentorship as well. The curriculum is overall good enough to get you started, and the rest depends on your efforts.

The worst university ever, but money can buy a rank for them.
Placements: Through BCA, there are no such placements. We have nearly 1,000 students, but only 20% choose TPP to sit for placements, and only 1% of those students get placed. The management and higher authorities are poor, and the college mainly focuses on making money.
Infrastructure: I'm not a hostel resident, but I hear from my classmates that the hostels are in okay condition, though there are no attached washrooms. There was also leakage in MS in 2022. Many girls have committed suicide, and the food is average to below average. Privacy in hostels is a joke.
Faculty: The teachers might be helpful, but the higher authorities (HOD, coordinator) are the worst and never help students. They give illogical responses to student queries. Nothing works in labs; there's no practical knowledge. It feels like a waste of money, and you have to pay thousands if you fail or are detained in a subject.
Other: Firstly, the BCA campus is not on the main CU campus; it's about 10-12 km away from the main campus. There's only a building rented from another college, with no proper infrastructure and no discipline at all.

2021 to 2024 life-changing chapters.
Placements: Most of the students are placed. The highest salary package is 50 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Tata Motors, Amazon, Flipkart, google and many more. Two types of options are available for internships paid and free you can choose any one from them. The roles offered by the companies are vice-chairman and general manager.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, and library all are fully furnished and good infrastructure is available for students. The canteen facilities are good food which is provided for students. It is cooked with good hygiene. College authorities will take care of their health, and sports grounds are available.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They use the best way to teach students so that they easily learn and understand the concepts in trips. Semester exams are held after six months and there are 2 times mid-semester tests are also taken.
Other: I choose this course because I want to get computer knowledge as. I know that the coming generation is computer-based and all the work nowadays is done on a computer so that's why I chose this course.

An overview of Chandigarh University.
Placements: Chandigarh University had too many students, and they created different types, like students who wanted to continue for Masters or those who wanted placement. They trained those who wanted placement through webinars and inductions, but nowadays, Chandigarh University is not getting high packages from big companies.
Infrastructure: About the course, teachers were great and had a wealth of knowledge. They also helped you to do any activity by yourself. Hostels were very good in terms of food, and I loved eating lunch at the LC hostel there. One thing I didn’t like about hostels was that they had one room with four beds, and students needed space to study.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good, and the curriculum of the college was well maintained with discipline. About exams, there was a lot of space to take the exam with full camera security under the HOD. There was a lot of strictness while giving the exam, and no cheating material could be used during the examination.
Other: The college had great memories, and I enjoyed it there without any mind questions.

Courses like BCA and MCA are not worth it in this university. These courses can do with any other.
Placements: Most call center companies come for BCA students. Most students get placed based on their skills. In terms of placement, the college is good. If you want to sit for college placements, you have to buy a TPP course, which costs around Rs.5,000, and they teach aptitude and soft skills in it to make you ready for placements.
Infrastructure: For BCA, there is a different campus about 5 km away from the main university. That campus is a government college called GGS. It only has 1 block for BCA with 5 levels, 1 cafeteria, and one playground. They don't have a lift in the building, and there is no AC available till now.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative, but not that much good when it comes to teaching. The HOD of the BCA department is very bad. The curriculum is important but not that much to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are that much difficult. Most students pass, with about 9 out of 10 passing.
Other: I chose this course to get exposure to Chandigarh University campus life. But we are told that we have to attend classes at a different campus. It's a total scam. They are charging huge fees by showing their main campus and giving that GGS college to BCA students.
