The Chitkara University BE admission process is done based on merit in the JEE Main exam. Before applying for admission, the candidates should check out the eligibility requirements. STEP 1: Chitkara University BTech Application Process
Candidates should be able to fill out the Chitkara University Solan BE admission form in both online and offline modes. Candidates are required to submit their application on or before the prescribed deadline. The steps to be followed for online application form filling are:
Step 1.1: Go to the admission portal on the university's official website (https://www.chitkara.edu.in/admissions/admission-procedure/).
Step 1.2: Scroll down and fill out the admission form.
Step 1.3: Click on "Apply Now" to submit the form.
Further, the admission form can be submitted in offline mode as well. The admission form can be downloaded from the website and then the filled-out application can be submitted at the admission office. For application submission, an application fee of INR 1,100 can be charged.
STEP 2: Counselling
In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on accepted exam scores (JEE Main) and selected candidates have to appear personally before the counselling committee. Counselling schedules shall be published on the university website or communicated to students.
At the time of counselling, candidates need to bring the important documents with them. The university allocates seats based on the merit ranking of the student in the qualifying exam, eligibility fulfilment, and as indicated in the counselling form (as per availability of seats).
