The university offers mean-based and merit-based scholarships. Candidates with low parental income are eligible for a mean-based scholarship. While candidates with a good score in the last qualifying exam can apply for merit-based scholarships. Candidates need to apply online for the scholarship. The names of the students for scholarships are finalised by the University Committee that comprises every year.

CSJMU offers BDS course through UP NEET counselling process for which the eligibility criteria to appear in the counselling process should be with minimum 12th percentile of 50% for General, 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates, and 45% for PWD candidates. Candidates who are natives of Uttar Pradesh getting 75% can easily get admission to CSJMU.

The vice-chancellor of the university decide on enrolment in such cases. Candidates with a gap of less than five-year might get admission much more easily. CSJMU offers admission to BTech programme based on entrance exam score. Candidates are first required to apply for BTech at CSJMU official website. The selection for BTech course is based on JEE Main or merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection process, a merit list is released with the names of shortlisted aspirants. Once the selection rounds are over, shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants must confirm their seat with the course fee to avoid rejection.
