Q:   Does DY Patil International University offer scholarships? I want admission to B.Tech Bioengineering.
A:

Yes, DY Patil International University does offer scholarships for B.Tech Bioengineering, so you can definitely get some fee reduction if you meet the criteria.

The university provides merit-based scholarships mainly based on your performance in exams like JEE, NEET, MH-CET, or your 12th board marks. For example, if you have a strong score, you can get up to 50 percent scholarship on tuition fees, while mid-range scores may give you around 15 percent to 25% reduction. Even students with around 75 percent in 12th can get about 10% scholarship.

These scholarships are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so applying early is important. Also, the scholarship is usually applicable for the first year, and you may need to maintain good academic performance to continue benefits.

Now if we compare with Lovely Professional University, LPU also offers scholarships through LPUNEST, and the advantage is that LPU gives more flexible and often higher scholarship opportunities (up to 60%) along with easier admission and wider course options, especially in biomedical and agriculture fields.

So overall, yes, DY Patil offers scholarships for Bioengineering, but if your main focus is higher scholarship chances and broader exposure, LPU can be a slightly better option.

Dissatisfied with everything, apart from campus.

Placements: I am currently studying in my 2nd year number of students in my course are 131 and I don't know about the packages but one of my senior got selected in brain-related research. Some of them are preparing for GATE and higher studies. I don't know anyone who has chosen an internship but I have heard there's good recruitment if you do well.

I’m satisfied because of the good infrastructure, campus, crowd, and decent placement rate.

Placements: A good percentage of students get placed from the campus. As per the college, 33 LPA is the highest package. I don't know about the lowest. The average is about 5 to 5.5 LPA. Internships are mandatory for students. Personally, I don't know about internships and all. But I heard from seniors that if you have good skills and a decent CGPA, then it's easy to get placement.

Placements in this college are above average, and faculty is great.

Placements: About 75–80% of students are placed. The highest package is 33 LPA. Internships are provided every year for experience. From the 3rd year, students can join stipend-based internships. In B.Tech CSE, top roles include data scientist and others.

Review of D.Y Patil International University, Pune.

Placements: In our CSE batch of 800, about 30-40% of students got placed via campus. The average package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA, and the highest on-campus is 27 LPA. The lowest offer is 3.5 LPA from a startup. Almost all of us do internships in Pune area firms like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro, offering roles like software or analyst intern, and many get PPOs. Top recruiter visits included Amazon, Cognizant, Bosch, and Capgemini. Extra high packages (30 LPA to 45 LPA from Google/Microsoft/Adobe) come from off-...

Good college with decent placements, supportive faculty, and well-maintained infrastructure.

Placements: Around 80-85% of students in the previous batch are placed. The highest package offered is around 15 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is around 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and a few product-based companies like Amazon and Accenture. Many students also got internships in their 3rd year through campus drives, which later converted into full-time offers. The most common roles offered are software engineer, analyst, and associate developer. ...

A solid foundation for its careers with decent placements and industry exposure.

Placements: 80% of students get placed in the course directly through campus placements. The highest package is 70-80 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include IT giants like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, and product startups like Zoho and Byjus, along with HCL, and Teach Mahindra.
