Candidates who have complete four year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute in the relevant field with a minimum of 75% marks or an equivalent CGPA are also eligible to apply.

Applicants who completed their first-year degree course (undergraduate course) by June 4, 1986, regardless of the duration, will be considered equivalent to those who completed a three year first degree course. Applicants with a two year first degree who enrolled after June 4, 1986, must undergo a one-year bridge course.

Students who have Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualifications from 'The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India' (ICAI), Cost and Works Accountancy from ICWAI or Company Secretary qualifications from ICSI with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade are eligible for admission to Ph.D. Programs in the relevant field.

Foreign/NRI applicants or those with a Master’s degree from a foreign university must provide an equivalence certificate from AIU can also apply.
