Not a lot of companies hire graduates from our college, so the placements arent exactly our strong suit.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2026

The poor campus life but fine education.
Placements: There is no placement in B.Arch at DCRUST. Our university does not provide any placement on the campus. No companies recruit architects from this university. Students have to find internships for their practical training on their own. But all the students get a guaranteed internship in well-reputed architectural firms and companies due to the good reputation of the university around Northern India.
Infrastructure: Our college has poor infrastructure and zero maintenance. There are non accessible roads. It has drainage problems and no 24X7 drinking water supply. They have installed solar panels around the campus but they are not operational. We still have to struggle with electricity facilities. Hostel is the poorest thing in the whole university. If you have money, do not prefer taking a hostel.
Faculty: Professors and faculty members are fine and provide good knowledge. The teaching quality is good. Some professors are good and supportive but most of them are not helpful at all. They don't even take the classes regularly. The curriculum is relevant but outdated, they still prefer the old methodology of teaching regardless of the modern techniques.

It has a chill campus life and a good area.
Placements: The package offered is 64 LPA, and the average salary offered is 6 LPA. Placement opportunities are excellent in my course. Almost 90% of students got placed in top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon. The package offered ranges from 4-20 LPA. Many students also got internships in reputed firms with great roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are so good and fully furnished with AC, food, and everything is top-notch. Our department has modern labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The hostel is comfortable with decent rooms. There is a good variety of food in the mess and canteen. The medical care and sports facilities keep students' lives balanced.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and can make everything easy. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly. The course curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. Exams are moderately tough but manageable with preparation. The pass percentage is generally high.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be in the tech field. The campus crowd is awesome.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech. Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gateway Education
2.6

I would suggest choosing a better college.
Placements: 20% of students get placed that too, with a very less annual package. I checked the list and the highest is 6 LPA, the least is 1.8 LPA, and the average is 2-3 LPA. The recruiting companies are Solitaire Infosys and some other companies. Internships are available for almost all students, depending on their interests.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, with a bad speed and limitations. Labs are good, fully AC, and have good working systems. Classrooms are good on the first floor, but on the rest of the floors, it has very weird shapes which deviates focus. The hostel is also fine. We have a big ground, a swimming pool for sports, etc. The canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are not that good, and they are morally low. Students get knowledge just to pass exams, nothing more than that. Semester exams are made very tough. We get only 8 questions from the entire syllabus, out of which we have to attempt 5.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE to get a job in the IT sector and good pay. The syllabus includes a lot of subjects that we found useless. The college organizes several activities to keep students engaged.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.8

My real experiences with Dcrust.
Placements: The placement scenario in our university is quite good. The average package of universities is 6 LPA, and the main recruiters are TCS Veera for an IT student, and for other students are Havles, Eiser, and Maruti Suzuki. Almost 60% of students got placed in core branches, while for CSE and ECE, the percentage may increase.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is decent, the campus is fully Wi-Fi, and the classrooms and library are fully air-conditioned. All the labs are working properly with all the equipment. There is a hostel inside the university campus, which is quite affordable. Mess food is decent, but for better food, some canteens have very good Dhaba around the campus.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very supportive, and they are ready to help students. The professors are very well qualified, mostly from IITs. Some of them are very strict about assignments and attendance criteria. There are three exams in a semester. Two minor exams and one major exam at the end of the semester, marking of exams is quite strict.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because most of these trends are choosing computer Science, engineering, and the demand for core engineers is increasing as their supply is less, and also this university has a good placement record with core branches. One thing that can be improved for the course is that it could be more based on professional learning. Otherwise, there are fests on the campus. One is the technical phase, and the other is the cultural fest inside the university. There are various kinds of other events and social groups as well.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

Average college and hostel life.
Placements: Placements are not that good in our campus, but most of the students can easily get the 3LPA package, and a few topic students can get the 7LPA package, but the top 1 to 2 students can also cross the line of 10LPA, depending upon the capability of the students and their mindset.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, as recently the CSE department chairman faced a accident of the roof falling on his desk, and hostels are also in the worst condition, and the administration does not do anything as the vice chancellor eats all the development money by itself and with the registrar.
Faculty: Faculty is not interested in teaching the students, and very rarely do teachers take interest in teaching us. Curriculum is old and has not been updated in years. Exams are held regularly, but the checking process is not transparent and has a few faults, that is why they do not take action.
Other: Value for money is average, and the crowd is large on the campus.

My college provides education at a relatively lower cost, but I am dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Around 10 to 12% of students get a campus placement. CSE students get more placements than other core branches. The top recruiting company is TCS. Almost 80% of students got internships in different companies. I am somewhat dissatisfied with the placement of my college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too bad, not too good. It's quite good because of the greenery on campus. The library is good. First-year classrooms are not good, but second year onwards, you get neat and clean classrooms with AC. Wi-Fi facilities are poor. Mess food is moderate. There are no such medical facilities.
Faculty: Only few teachers are good, but most of them don't know how to teach. The course curriculum is totally irrelevant; it doesn't make anyone industry ready. Semester exams are easy, but students don't want to study; therefore, the pass percentage of this institution is very poor.
Other: I want to get hired by a software company with a lucrative package; that's why I have opted for this course, which means Computer Science Engineering. There is a main event called Rhythm held in November every year.
