Securing admission to Delhi University (DU) with a CUET score of 98 out of 200 presents significant challenges, given the competitive nature of DU admissions. For instance, in the 2024 academic session, the cutoff scores for various undergraduate programs were substantially higher. To illustrate, the B.Sc (Prog.) Life Science programme at Hansraj College had a cutoff score of 516, while the same programme at Kirori Mal College required a score of 505. These figures indicate that a score of 98 may not meet the typical admission thresholds for most programs at DU.However, it's important to note that cutoff scores can vary annually based on factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance in the entrance examination. Additionally, DU offers a wide range of programs across its affiliated colleges, each with its own specific cutoff criteria. While admission with a CUET score of 98 is unlikely in more competitive programs, there may be certain courses or colleges within DU where the cutoff scores are lower, potentially aligning with your score. To explore your options, I recommend consulting the official DU admissions portal or contacting the admissions offices of specific colleges to inquire about programs with cutoff scores that match your CUET performance. This approach will provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your admission prospects at Delhi University.
