With a score of 300 in CUET, entry into Dyal Singh Evening College (University of Delhi) for B.A. (Hons.) programs would not be successful and, in fact, based on the trend of different cut-offs across various honors for the year 2023, it can be said that whereas the cutoff for B.A. (Hons.) Political Science has stood at around 460-470 for general category students?, a much higher score than the one mentioned here would be necessary for admission there, and cut-offs for different honors are highly varied according to the subject and category. You can check the specific cut-off trends for your desired course as they keep on changing every year with competition and numbers of applicants.

The cutoff for B.A. programs at Dyal Singh Evening College, University of Delhi, 2024 will primarily be on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test. The cutoffs from 2024 onwards would no longer be on marks obtained in board exams but based solely on CUET results, whereby the cutoff marks would vary with course and category. However, the South Campus of Delhi University is unique in that every course has different placement conditions. In the context of M.A. and M.Sc. courses, the placement is supposed to be more on the academic or research side and the candidates basically get jobs in government positions, NGOs, and think tanks. In most cases, after completing the M.A. degree in subjects like English, History, and Political Science, students opt for civil services or teaching. The placement prospects for students from professional courses like MBE (Master of Business Economics) and MBA are stronger for corporate sectors such as finance, marketing, and consulting. Major recruiters of the institute are EY, Deloitte, and HDFC. Internships, research opportunities, and alumni networks further help placements across disciplines.
