Dibrugarh University provides admission with a minimum aggregate of 40%-60% in Class 12 for UG programmes along with the considered entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, AHSEC, CUET and others. Admission to various UG, PG, and PhD level courses is done by the Dibrugarh University in-house entrance exams such as DUPGET,  DURAT, B.Ed CET for MA, PhD, and B.Ed, respectively. For courses such as MBA and MTech, the university accepts valid scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT and GATE, respectively.
