Most of the info about doon university.
Placements: The highest package students received is 25 lakh per annum, and the lowest is 5 to 8 lakh per annum.
Wipro, Amazon, etc., are the top companies who offer jobs to our students.
In the psychology department, most of the students have done internships in hospitals and NGOs.
Infrastructure: In my course BSc/Ba psychology there are great facilities for our department. We have our own club , psychology club, smart boards, and the best collection of books in our library. We have our own psychology lab , counseling room , and happiness laboratory.
The hostel fee of girls is 22000 something, and the boys’ hostel is 24000 something for 6 months [1 semester]. The food menu is decided by the hostel students through the mess committee. The food quality is decent.
There is a dispensary in our university and a travel vehicle for medical emergencies.
In our university, many sports are played: cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and indoor games like chess as well.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, humble, and very qualified. Every teacher has its own teaching style, which is very interesting and easy to understand.
The curriculum is according to the New Education Policy ( NEP). The curriculum includes most of the competitive exam syllabus, so students don't have to enroll in other programs to study for competitive exams.
Other: Our passing-out batch was our first batch of psychology. I chose this course because I have a genuine interest in forensic and criminal psychology.
Things I wish to change about my course are that I want field work rather than classroom settings.
Our university provides scholarships.

Study in between a lush green campus.
Placements: I have no idea about this. No internships were provided to the students, and we never got to do the field work as well. So I have no idea regarding placements at this university. But I hope things are improving here with time and the student council is taking certain action against this.
Infrastructure: We have a psychology laboratory and very well-maintained classes with proper furniture. I was not a hosteller so I have no idea about that. Our classes did not have an adequate Wi-Fi connection. The library of our university is very vast and it has a good amount of study material.
Faculty: The teachers were qualified and helpful. And the syllabus was also very relevant. The difficulty level is moderate. I believe that the course and faculty polished us enough to become good psychologists. There were some teachers whose methods I enjoyed but some were not so polite.
Other: Choosing this course is totally my personal choice. But about events and festivals, our college has organized festivals that we enjoyed and they gave us a break from studies too.
