B.Sc. in Information Technology - Batch of 2028

There is good infrastructure and good placement in our college.
Placements: In our college, there are top IT companies on our campus. The placement rate is around 55-60%, which is considered better than some other colleges in Aurangabad. However, another source suggests the percentage of placed students has decreased to about 60% after the COVID-19 pandemic. The median salary for undergraduate (UG) students in the 2023-24 academic year was? 2.52 LPA. For postgraduate (PG) students, it was 2.10 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure and facilities in our college. The campus is generally described as huge, clean, and filled with greenery, creating a peaceful and conducive environment for studying. The college has well-equipped laboratories with modern tools and equipment for practical and research, especially for Science courses. Deogiri College boasts a strong sports infrastructure with a large grass playground, a multi-gym, and a multipurpose hall for various indoor games. It also has dedicated fields for football and cricket.
Faculty: In our college, good teachers have 15-20 years of teaching experience. The B.Sc. The IT curriculum is typically divided into six semesters, with a mix of core and elective subjects. The program's content is continuously updated to align with the evolving demands of the IT industry.
Other: In our college, there is good education.

Satisfied with the college environment.
Placements: About 50% students are placed in our college. Last year, 4 to 5 mechanical students got the 5 LPA above package, and CSE students also got the normal packages in college. Training and placement cell is so supportive and good. They conducted a sample interview round for students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough, and colleges have a big campus surrounded by trees and greenery. Give a positive and good vibe. The hostel and mess are also good, but not that good for students. They have Wi-Fi with a good internet connection. Labs are also average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. Exams are conducted by the college itself because the college is autonomous. Courses and curriculum are also good, and the behaviour of the faculty is nice with students. The quality of teaching is good, and they also give sample questions for exam preparation.

Review of Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies.
Placements: I think out of 400 students who sit in the placements, only 3 to 4 of them are selected, and that is how the placements in our college work. From the computer science and engineering course, only 4 students got placed in a below-average company with a salary package that ranged from 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am not a part of the college hostel. I know about the hostel infrastructure because some of my friends are there in a hostel, and they told me the infrastructure of the hostel is very bad. The water supply in the hostel is very minimal, and students are very frustrated because of it.
Faculty: Faculty members are average in our college. They do not know what to teach or how to teach. Out of 100 faculty members of our course, only 2-3 of them are supportive. They are only supportive. Semester exams are moderate.

Offered by Shreeyash College of Engineering and Technology

Disappointed with placements, teaching quality, and campus facilities.
Placements: Placements are below average for our batch. Only about 30-40% of students got placed, mostly in mass recruiting companies. The average package is around 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA, and the highest is 7 LPA for just a couple of students. Core companies rarely visit, and most roles offered are non-technical or support-based. Internships are mostly self-arranged, with minimal help from the college. The placement cell does not provide strong guidance or training, so students have to depend on external resources. Overall, the placement experience is disappointing and not up to expectations.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and needs improvement. Classrooms have basic amenities, but the labs are outdated and lack modern equipment. Wi-Fi is often slow and unreliable. Library has limited books and few updated materials. Hostel rooms are congested and not cleaned regularly. Mess food lacks variety, and hygiene is a concern. There are very limited medical facilities. There is no full-time doctor or proper clinic. Sports and recreation options are minimal, with very basic equipment. For the feel charge, the facilities fell short of what we expected. There is definitely scope for better maintenance and upgrades.
Faculty: Faculty members are not up to the mark. Most teachers lack proper communication skills and don't engage well with students. Many just read out slides without explaining concepts clearly. The curriculum feels outdated and not aligned with current industry needs. Practical exposure is minimal, and industry-relevant skills are hardly taught. Semester exams are not very difficult, but they do not reflect real learning. The pass percentage is high, but the actual knowledge gained is quite low. Overall, the academics feel more like a formality than true education.
Other: I chose this course hoping it would open good career opportunities. But the overall experience is disappointing. Campus life is dull, with very few events or extracurricular activities. The crowd is not very active or diverse, and connectivity to the city is also poor. There are occasional fests, but they lack energy and proper organisation. College needs to improve faculty quality, placement support, and student engagement. Scholarships are limited, and the overall environment does not feel encouraging. I wish I had researched more before joining.

A little dissatisfied with the college placements as it is regrading day by day, and it was good.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in my college. The highest package is around 15 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Pratiti, and Yardi. 29% of students got internships in electronics department in startups. The top role offered in my course is a software developer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are provided with decent facilities like Wi-Fi, projectors, smart boards, and CCTV camera surveillance. Hostel rooms are spacious with a fresh environment. There is greenery outside the hostel. Mess and canteen food are okay. Medical facilities are okay. A weekly visit from the lady doctor is available in girls' hostel. There is a gymkhana, a badminton court, a kho-kho court, and football grounds for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with PhD degrees. They have years of experience, but their teaching is okay. The course curriculum is now updated according to real-time applications. Semester exams are easy to clear with a pass percentage of 40%. The college is autonomous, so passing exams is easy.
Other: The campus is right near the market and city area, so accessibility to amenities is good. Extracurricular activities are held every year, such as sports week, technical events, and annual gatherings.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2026
Offered by SBSPM's College of Pharmacy

Not a worthy campus. It is small with 4 courses in single building. The hostel food is the worst.
Placements: As I took admission in the college in 2022, my senior pass out students included around 30 to 35 students. Only 3 of them got their jobs in a company. One of them is in Cipla. Now, as per my observation and information, placements are zero. This college is best for nominal admission or for people who only want a degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as multiple courses like B. Pharma, D. Pharma, and BCS are in one building. The hostel mess is not that good, and the hostel is only for girls. Having only one building for four courses leads to a shortage of classrooms, and providing one lab for 2-3 subjects. The canteen is good now, as it was upgraded in 2023 due to the NAAC inspection for grade purposes. The infrastructure has been renovated and is now in good condition.
Faculty: Teaching is average. Only the 3rd and final-year faculty are good, as teachers are always changing. Various programs are also conducted for students. Semester exams are sometimes easy for back subjects and hard for regular ones, and vice versa. Sports and events are organized once a year. The classrooms are limited, and for 2 subjects, one lab is provided, or for 3 subjects, one lab is provided. There is always a shortage of equipment and materials for practicals.
Other: As I scored a low score in NEET, I took admission in B. Pharma. The college campus is beautiful but small. The surroundings are also good, as the college is near the main road, the school is beside the college, and the hostel is at the back, with a group in the backyard.
