Ambedkar Open University UG Diploma Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Dates, Seats

The degrees/diplomas/certificates offered by BAOU Ahmedabad are treated at par with other UGC-approved universities' degrees/diplomas/certificates. Hence, the degrees issued by BAOU are valid and accepted by companies and other institutes. Additionally, the university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is also recognised by the Distance Education Council (DEC).

BAOU has not released the official placement data for 2024. However, according to the BAOU student reviews available on Shiksha, the highest package offered to BA students in the recent Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University placements was INR 12 LPA. The BAOU MBA placement statistics are not out yet. The official placement data is yet to be released by the University. Once disclosed, it will be updated here. According to the data fetched from Shiksha students reviews, an 85% placement rate was recorded for BA courses during the recent years placements. Further, the placement rate achieved for BBA courses in Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University placements over the past few years was 70%. Students have also given a review that 65% of the BA students receive internship opportunities during the summer placement sessions.
