Yes, a student can join Dayananda Sagar University without JEE. JEE is not required to get a seat in Dayananda Sagar University as the college does its own examination which a person needs to pass. JEE mains result does not matter to the college. In order to get admission in UG courses at DSU University, a candidate must either clear JEE, Karnataka CET, COMEDK, or Uni-GAUGE in order to avail a seat in the college through online or offline counseling after the announcement of the result of the respective entrance exams. One can also apply for the DSAT exam that is conducted by the college itself to get admission into an undergraduate course.
