As you are doing Diploma in mechanical branch, so, try to revise all the concepts before appearing for the examination. You should purchase previous year papers from nearby markets or you can purchase it from amazon or Flipkart via online shopping. Also, try to give some online tests as well.
Best of luck.

Your question is about getting admission at DTU, which is why I told you the admission criteria and procedure at DTU. Admission process at DTU has nothing to do with JoSAA counselling. Admission to DTU will take place through JAC Delhi Counselling, which will begin in June/July. This means that you need not to apply in JoSAA if you wish you seek admission at DTU. JAC Delhi counselling is separate and you have to apply there separately based on your JEE Main score and 60% aggregate marks in class 12th.

As per your category, if your rank is less than 1,00,000 (general rank), then you will get some branches in DTU and NSIT. However, HBIT is taking admission via JEE Mains from this year, so we cannot predict the exact cutoff.

Here a quick guide that will provide all the information you need to know about B.Tech Lateral Entry. So, make sure you read it and take necessary actions as per your choice of colleges. For Lateral Entry seats in Government Colleges entrance exams is the only way to secure a seat. However, for Lateral entry admission in private colleges apart from entrance exams direct admission through management quota is also possible. Though Diploma engineering courses may help in early exposure to the job market yet, you may miss out a few opportunities due to lack of a degree. In this case, you can opt for lateral entry in B.Tech. But, what is meant by a lateral entry in B.Tech and what is the procedure & eligibility conditions to get into the same? Lateral entry in B.Tech can be defined as the direct entry of a student into the second year of engineering (third semester), after completing Diploma in engineering or Bachelors of Science in physics or mathematics. The course duration is of 6 semesters (3 Years). B.Tech lateral entry admission is possible only after you have successfully completed Your Diploma in engineering or have studied Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Mathematics) after class 12th (10+2). But, If you have done Diploma in Architecture, You can only take admission into the 1st year for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme after getting a valid score in NATA entrance exams. B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission Procedure
Though there are different admission procedures for different engineering colleges yet, entrance exam can be traced as a common basis to get into B.Tech Lateral Entry programme in any university or college. These entrance exams could be the state entrance exams or exams conducted by some deemed universities. On a basic note, regional government colleges and private colleges consider state entrance exams to prepare merit, while autonomous institutes and deemed universities conduct their own exams. B.Tech Lateral Entry
Eligibility Criteria:
You must have completed a full-time Diploma engineering course or an equivalent degree from a recognised institute (Approved by Government of India). If you are a B.Sc graduate, it's necessary for you to have Mathematics as one of your subjects in graduation. You must have an aggregate of 45% throughout your 3 years Diploma course or graduation. Though the percentage varies differently for different colleges, most of the colleges fix their eligibility criteria as 45% for general category
