To be eligible for DTU MBA, candidates must hold a UG degree with at least 60% aggregate marks. There is 10% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Specific specialisations like MBA in Business Analytics require a math/statistics subject in UG, while Family Business and Entrepreneurship requires proof of family business with a GST number. Each specialisation may have slight variations in eligibility.

For the selection process, the university requires candidates to achieve scores in the accepted entrance exams, i.e., CAT and MAT. Once candidates are selected, they will be assessed based on their scores in the entrance exam. They will be called for a PI or counselling round. For the conclusion of the admission process, the university considers the scores of PI, entrance exam, gender, etc.

Initially, the process for admission to the MBA course at DTU involves the registration for the course through the official website of the university. Ongoing, the applicants who have registered should submit all the necessary details containing their proof of academic details and entrance examination scores. Further, those who have their names in the merit list are required to pay the course fee.

Delhi Technological University accepts CAT percentiles for admission to the MBA course. As per the DTU MBA cutoff 2024, the overall CAT cutoff percentile for the General All India category candidates was closed at 85. For other sections i.e. Quants, VA-RC, DI-LR, the cutoff percentile were 50 for the General All India category candidates. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff percentile in the last round was 70 which has remained constant for the past three years.
