Given the strong demand and restricted number of seats, Delhi Technological University's (DTU) Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme is scheduled to have a tough UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) cutoff in 2024. In the past, admission to UCEED required applicants to place in the top 15-20% of test takers. While the cutoffs might change every year depending on variables like the volume of applications and the difficulty of the test, a rank in the top 200–300 could be a reasonable goal for aspirant students.

{Source: B.A. students & alumni}Here's what the students and alumni have to say:Pros:* Good faculty members who are knowledgeable and helpful* Relevant curriculum that prepares students for the industry* Decent placements with average salaries ranging from 3.5-8 LPA* Opportunities for internships and on/off-campus placements* Modern infrastructure with air-conditioned classrooms, libraries, and computer labs* Small and compact campus with a vibrant atmosphereCons:* Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to opt for PG accommodations* No grounds for outdoor sports, only indoor games* Pass percentage is around 35%* Small campus size may limit opportunities for recreational activitiesPlacement Statistics:* Almost 70% of students get placed in companies* the highest package offered: 10 LPA* Average package offered: 4-5 LPA* Top roles offered: HR, Marketing, Finance* Top recruiters: Deloitte, Parle-G, Paytm, KPMGConclusion:While the B.A. programme at DTU East Delhi Campus has its limitations, it seems that students have had positive experiences with the faculty, curriculum, and placements. With decent job opportunities and modern infrastructure, it may still be a worthwhile choice for those interested in pursuing a B.A. degree. However, potential students should carefully consider the pros and cons before making a decision.

{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what stands out:Positive Points:* Good faculty: Reviewers praise the faculty members' knowledge, experience, and willingness to help students.* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is considered relevant and industry-focused, making students job-ready.* Placement record: The campus placement record is impressive, with many top companies visiting the campus, offering good salary packages (average package - INR15 LPA, the highest package - INR40 LPA).* Infrastructural development: The East campus has undergone significant infrastructural development, providing modern facilities, including Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, and a library.* Supportive placement cell: The college's placement cell is proactive in supporting students in finding suitable jobs.Negative Points:* Limited hostel options: Unfortunately, there are limited hostel options on the East campus, forcing students to look for private accommodation.* Old buildings: While the infrastructure has improved, some reviewers mention that certain buildings are still older and in need of renovation.* Mess food: While the food in the canteen is considered average, some reviewers mention that the meal quality could be improved.Verdict: Overall, the MBA/PGDM programme at DTU East Delhi Campus seems to be a worthwhile investment for those seeking a well-rounded education, relevant curriculum, and promising placement prospects. However, students should be aware of the limitations mentioned above and consider factors such as accommodation when making their decision.
