Galgotias University provides a total of five scholarships to its meritorious students and students carving their marks in sports, performing arts, and literature. Candidates can get merit scholarships based on academic performance in examinations prescribed by the University i.e. Class 12 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/ Aptitude Test and candidates possessing exemplary skills in sports, performing arts or literary skills. Similarly, for scholarships from Sports quota, candidates can get Galgotias University admission in two ways Direct Admission without Sports Trials and Admission with Sports Trials. Additionally, the toppers of all the Board/Universities get a 100% tuition fee waiver and the students securing up to 4000th rank in the JEE Examination - a 50% tuition fee waiver. Good course curriculum and campus life.

Placements: The School of Finance, Commerce, and Business receives good placement opportunities. Since BBA (FIA) is a relatively new course, there are only two sections, so there is less competition for placements. For the previous batch, highest package was 9 LPA. The average package ranged between 4.5–5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The course structure is great, with dedicated labs for most of the practical courses. There is a Stock Market Simulation Lab collaboration with NSE that provides students with hands-on trading experience. It helps them understand how the stock market works.

Faculty: Many of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and are well-experienced. Their teaching style, combined with active learning classes and a practical-based curriculum. It makes students industry-ready. Extracurricular activities also prepare students for real-world challenges. The semester exams are around 3–4 on the difficulty scale, but they are manageable because all the topics are well covered in class. The curriculum is well designed and covers all the major areas of finance.

Decent placements, supportive faculty.

Placements: Around 70–90% of students get placed in our course. It depends on skills, CGPA, and market conditions. Top recruiters include Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, HCL-Tech, and Capgemini. Around 60–80% of students get internships, depending on the course and skills.

Infrastructure: Facilities are available for the department. It includes Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library for study and other activities. Presentation facilities are also available in classrooms. Facilities are decent overall. The hostel is good, the food is average, medical support is available, and sports facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified at the master's level. They are helpful in nature and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is relevant. It helps students become industry-ready by focusing on practical knowledge, skill development, and industry exposure. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is usually around 35–40% per subject.

Other: I chose this course because I want to do business in the future, so I am taking this course to gain knowledge about it.

Overall it is a good choice compared to other private colleges according to the infrastructure.

Placements: Currently, placements for BBA students in the university are average but they are improving every year. Approximately 80 percent of students got placed in different companies. The average package for BBA students in Galgotias is about 5 LPA-6 LPA. Recently I got the information that this year a student of our School of Business got placed at 39 LPA. Top recruiting companies for BBA students in our college are HCL, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, and many more. Many students get an opportunity for an internship in their 5th semester for different roles.

Infrastructure: As we all can see, the university has its own world-class library feature with very advanced equipment and different books from different departments. There is a well-cleaned and silent environment for study. Classrooms have smartboards with round tables with comfortable chairs and also with space for charging your laptops at every table. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available in every block of the university. The quality of food is average in the hostels but it can still be tolerated. There is only one hostel inside the campus but the university provides hostels with a transport facility from the hostel to the university.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good. All the faculty members are well qualified for their subjects and focus on one-to-one interaction like the schools even in college. It makes the students industry-ready by giving them practical knowledge and industry exposure. Semester exams are a bit tough but if you have studied well then it will be easy. Most of the students pass because there are some internal marks given by the faculty on the name of IA1, IA2, and there is a midterm and end-term so this also reduces the load of exams.

Placements: More than 80 percent students are placed in my course last year. The top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Wipro Paytm, Deloitte, etc. The highest package of my course is 7 LPA, the lowest is 2.9 LPA, and the average is 4–5 LPA. Top roles offered are marketing executive, financial analyst, HR executive, etc. More than 90 percent students got internships in my course in companies like Wipro and Tech Mahindra, etc.

Infrastructure: All the basic as well as advanced facilities are provided in my department, and the infrastructure is pretty good. The quality of facilities in my hostel is very top-notch, with good, tasty, and healthy food, medical facilities, sports grounds, and many more things.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is awesome. The curriculum of my course is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is more than 70 percent.

Other: I have a good interest in business subjects, and I want to build a startup after my graduation, which is why I chose this course. The timetable of the classes should be changed. Several events happen at my university. The crowd is very high, and connectivity is now good. The nearest metro station is almost 20 km from the university. Scholarships are provided in our university, like Bihar, UP, and Defence scholarships, etc. Extracurricular activities happen from time to time.

Infrastructure is good, but faculty needs to improve.

Placements: Currently, I am in my 2nd year, but I know from seniors that the college has good packages up to 3.5–7 LPA. Along with 150–200 students placed last year in finance companies like Cognizant. I don't know the exact internship percentage of students, but it is almost 30%, and the average package is around 6 LPA according to the college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is on point and has a good library with all the books of the course. It has fast Wi-Fi, a cafeteria, and medical faculty members in C block of the college. It has active learning classrooms with circular tables for communication and learning with other students.

Faculty: Faculty is good, but some are rude and some are of a non-helping nature. Some teachers from the southern part do not know English and Hindi well, so there is a linguistic barrier. There is good support from most of the teachers, Dean, and mentors. ERP and exams are entirely knowledge-based and based on case studies.

Other: I chose this course because it includes data mining with business and uses data to give insights to business. The college has ongoing fests and events every month of the year.

Placements: 91% students are placed last year from my course. The average package is 6-8 LPA from BBA Digital Marketing. Top recruiting companies include HLC, Wipro, Teach, etc. Many students got internships, around 95%. Many higher roles are offered in my course, like Marketing Head.

Infrastructure: Very modern and well-equipped infrastructure with high-class facilities and faculty members, smart classes, and eco-friendly systems. Very good quality of food is served in the hostel campus with an AC canteen and RO water. There is large space for outdoor gaming with the facility of indoor gaming also.

Faculty: Very good and maintained exam system with great facilities. The course of BBA Digital Marketing makes students industry-leading champs. But the exam passing criteria is quite hard. However, the online examination system is good and understandable for every student.

Other: The course I chose is BBA Digital Marketing. The main purpose of choosing this course is that the whole world and working systems are turning to digital services, that’s why digital marketing is the best course for the future.
