BHU Admission 2024 Through CUET UG: Banaras Hindu University has released the CUET BHU 2024 fourth merit list at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Candidates desirous to take admission to Banaras Hindu University undergraduate programme must ensure to have appeared for CUET examination and register at BHU UG Admission Combined Allotment Programe (CAP UG). For BHU admission 2024 through CUET UG, candidates must have registered online at bhucuet.smarath.edu.in. Candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate program of Banaras Hindu University must check the eligibility criteria for the program for which he/she will be appearing for CUET. Q:   When will CUET BHU UG admission 2024 commence?

A:

Banaras Hindu University will commence the CUET BHU UG admission 2024 anytime soon at bhuonline.in. Candidates seeking admission to BHU UG courses, theur must register for CUET BHU admissions 2024 at BHU portal. The application forms for CUET BHU UG 2024 will be released soon. Candidates will be required to enter the course and college peference. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria to appear for the CUET BHU 2024 online counselling.

Q:   When will CUET BHU 2024 cut off release?

A:

Banaras Hindu University will release the CUET BHU cut off 2024 after eight to ten days of CUET 2024 results declaration. National Testing Agency will declare the CUET UG result 2024 by June 30, 2024 at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. BHU will retain the CUET scores automatically. On the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate in CUET BHU 2024 application form and CUET 2024 score, candidates will be allotted seat.

Q:   What is CUET UG cut off for top courses?

A:

CUET UG cut off will vary from course to course and universities. To know the cut off for CUET UG courses, candidates must stay updated with the notification released by the universities for admissions. Register for CUET UG

CUET UG registration 2024 is important for applying to BHU UG program. The name of the candidate, signature, and photographs will be auto-integrated from the CUET application form. Candidates must enter the details carefully while filling the CUET UG application form.

Appear for CUET UG exam as per the subjects studied in Class 12th

Candidates must ensure to select the language/domain-specific subjects as studied in class 12th. Candidates must appear for the exam on the given date, time, and exam centre. The CUET UG exam is Computer Based Test (CBT), wherein candidates have to report at the allotted exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates must ensure to follow the exam day guidelines to avoid any disqualifications.

Q:   How is CUET UG cut off calculated?

A:

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

  • Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
  • The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
  • The difficulty level of the CUET exam
  • Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Q:   When will NTA release CUET UG cutoff?

A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2024 cutoff will be released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. 

Q:   How can I access the CUET UG cut off list?

A:

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

  • Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
  • On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
  • A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
  • Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Q:   What is the CUET UG cut off for BHU?

A:

BHU accepts CUET UG scores for admission to several undergraduate courses, including BA (Hons.) in Social Sciences, BA LLB (Hons.), BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and BSc (Hons.) Biology, among others. CUET cut off for BHU has been released for UG courses. BHU has released the Round 8 Seat Allotment Result ans as per the BHU last round cutoff 2023, B Sc (Hons) Agriculture was the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 506 for the General category student. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the BHU cut off 2023 for several undergradute courses: 

 

Q:   I have scored 550/800 in CUET will I get admission in DU for B.com Hons?

A:

The CUET score is good but mostly colleges' cut is near your score.

CUET is scored out of 800, and the exam comprises multiple-choice questions. The highest cut-off marks for DU admissions typically fall between 650-700. For admission to the B.Com (Hons) course, a score above 700 is considered good. For admission to the English (Hons) course, a score above 700-720 is considered good.

Marks above 600 can be taken as a very good score in CUET. Students with these marks are likely to get a seat in any top-ranked university in India.

Fill the BHU Under Graduate Programme (UET) Registration Form OR Fill the Program Preference

Candidates applying for the Undergraduate program of Banaras Hindu University must keep a scan or copy of the required documents/ certificates on his or her laptop/desktop. Candidates are advised to remember their NTA CUET UG application number and password to begin filling the BHU admission form. Check the list of documents required to fill BHU registration form:

  • Scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of passport size Photograph
  • Scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of Signature
  • Scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of 10th Marksheet
  • Scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of 12th Marksheet
  • Scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of Birth Certificate
  • Other relevant Documents such as Caste, Income, TC, CC

Candidates are required to enter the following details in BHU registration form:

  • Candidate’s date of birth
  • Gender
  • Caste (if applicable)
  • UG program to be selected same as filled in NTA CUET 2024 application form

After entering the above details candidates must ensure to check the details entered before the final submission. After the final preview, pay the registration fee. Candidates will be able to pay the BHU application fee through any of the following modes:

  • Net Banking
  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • UPI

CUET registered candidates are strongly advised to prioritise the BHU regular seat option over the paid seat option for their preferred course. If a candidate chooses a paid seat despite having chances of qualifying for a regular seat based on merit, he/she will be allotted the paid seat. Allotment will strictly adhere to the candidate's "Preference Order" and merit. It is important to note that the candidate will be fully responsible for his/her preference order and eventual allotment.

Steps to Fill CUET BHU UG Admission 2024 Application Form

  • Visit the Official BHU Counselling Link: bhucuet.samarth.edu.in

  • Register by Providing the Following Information:

    • Upload Photo and Signature
    • Document Upload
    • Bank Account Details
  • Review and Confirm Details

  • Pay the CUET BHU 2024 Application Fee:

Seat Allocation and Admissions

Banaras Hindu University will consider CUET UG normalized score to calculate the merit scores as per the program-specific eligibility. Candidates who do not have caste-supporting documents will not be eligible for admission to UG program of BHU. Basis the preference entered by the candidate and the availability of seats, the computer will allocate the seats at BHU.

Offer Acceptance

Candidates getting admission in the first allotment have to accept the offer and pay INR 2500 (INR 500 for SC/ST) as a commitment fee online. Candidates must pay the fee by 6 PM by the next day of publication of BHU UG merit list.  If not paid, the admission will be withdrawn permanently.

Candidates who will be accepting the offer, their documents will be verified online, If found not-eligible admission offer will be withdrawn. 

Upgrade or Choice Locking

  • Candidates who will have paid the commitment fee and have been verified must lick the allotment (if she/she is satisfied with the allotment).
  • If the candidates want to float or upgrade for higher preferences they must not lock it.  

Obtain a Provisional Admission Letter

Once candidates receive provisional admission, they are required to visit the counseling location the next day at 10 am to collect their admission letter from the admissions officer. Within the provisional BHU admission letter, students must meticulously review essential details like the admission fee and the deadline for payment. Being attentive to this crucial information will ensure a smooth and well-informed enrollment process for the students.

Payment of Fee

After obtaining the admission letter, candidates must pay the balance fee using the link provided on the dashboard. If there will be a surplus fee, the amount will be refunded. AFter the payment of the BHU fee, candidates must report at the respective faculty/department on the mentioned date along with the admission letter and other original documents.

 Yes, you can take admission to the BBA programme at Amity Global Business School Ahmedabad without CUET. They conduct their own selection process, which includes an English test and personal interview. CUET is not mandatory for admission.

Last year cutoff for B.Com (Hons) in Hansraj College was 792 marks in CUET. So looking at previous cutoff it seems difficult in general category. Still you should apply or you can select any other good north campus of DU.
