Galgotias University Among the World’s Leading Universities in QS Rankings 2026 

Jun 20, 2025: Galgotias University has performed outstandingly in the QS World University Rankings 2026 by Quacquarelli Symonds, securing a coveted position in the 1201–1400 global band. The university has been ranked 15th among top private universities and 43rd among all Indian universities—public and private. The university is ranked 6th in India for international students and international diversity, 9th for international faculty, 13th for faculty-student ratio, and 20th for academic reputation—a reflection of its global standards and student-first approach.

Galgotias University Partners with "Mother on Wheels" Initiative to Empower Women Globally

March 13, 2025: A Flag-off ceremony for the “Mother on Wheels” initiative took place today at the Chief Minister’s Office in Delhi. The event celebrated the remarkable journey of five inspiring mothers who are embarking on a self-driven car expedition from India to Southeast Asia, and then to Australia and New Zealand, setting a powerful example for mothers across the world. “Mother on Wheels” is an initiative by the Foundation for Holistic Development (FHD) which involves traveling to study and raise awareness about the crucial role mothers play in raising children with strong values, highlighting the importance of a mother’s influence on holistic development across various aspects of a child’s life
The event was graced by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta as the Chief Guest, with the esteemed Padma Bhushan awardee, Sonal Mansingh, as the Guest of Honour, and Dr. Dhurv Galgotia, the CEO of Galgotias University as chief knowledge partner of “Mother on Wheels” initiative. Dr. Dhurv Galgotia's motivational address at the ceremony emphasized the importance of the "Mother on Wheels" program. He emphasized how this initiative is essential to women's empowerment, enabling them to become more self-reliant and contribute significantly to society.
Dr. Galgotia remarked, “This expedition is more than a road trip—it is a symbolic journey of resilience. It reminds us that the role of a mother is universal, transcending cultures, geographies, and generation. Galgotias University NCC Cadet Joins Indian Army

March 13, 2025: Galgotias University proudly announces that Senior Under Officer (SUO) Priyanshu Dixit, an alumnus of the B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics program and a member of the NCC Army Wing from 2020 to 2023, has been appointed as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army through the NCC Special Entry Scheme. His unwavering commitment, perseverance, and outstanding performance earned him a spot at OTA Chennai with an outstanding All India Rank of 30 (AIR-30) in the NCC Special Entry-57. September 10, 2024: Galgotias University was recently honored during the inaugural edition of LG Electronics' flagship CSR initiative, the Life’s Good Scholarship Program. This program is designed to support students across India, with a special focus on promoting education for girls. Eligibility for the scholarship is determined by financial need and academic merit, offering up to 50% tuition fee assistance. Notably, 25% of these scholarships are reserved for students from modest backgrounds, and 25% of the merit-based scholarships are specifically allocated to outstanding female students.
