Galgotias has excellent campus infrastructure and good 2015 placements. The faculty is bad.
Placements: 90% of students from our course get placements in the media and news industry. Our college is very good at giving placements to students. Placements are provided in companies like NDTV, Aaj Tak, Salaam Namaste, Republic Bharat, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are good. The infrastructure is adopted from Singapore. College gives us very good types of classes and they also provide smart classrooms too. Facilities are very good.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They give us a good education. There is a good education system. They teach us practically and theoretically too. They provided proper notes and visual videos to help us to learn and it gave us good exposure in exams. They provide field visits to help us get experience. There are so many faculty members who did jobs in so many news channels.
Other: On our campus, the crowd is very good. The people of Galgotias are very well mannered and their way of talking is also very good.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Good placements and a friendly campus.
Placements: I pursued my BCA from the 2020-2023 batch. Around 80% of students are placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest 2.5 LPA, and the average 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. 65% got internships at companies like TCS and startups.
Infrastructure: Our BCA course had good infrastructure with computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel rooms were clean and basic, with 24/7 water and electricity. Mess food was decent and hygienic. Medical help was available, and sports facilities were well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty in our BCA course were experienced, and supportive, and used practical teaching methods. The curriculum was updated and aligned with industry needs, covering programming, databases, and IT fundamentals. Exams are difficult, and the pass percentage was around 85-90%.
Other: I was in the BCA 2020-2023 batch. I chose this course due to my interest in IT. The practical syllabus and internship opportunities are the best parts. Campus life was lively with fests, events, and good facilities. More industry projects could improve the course further.

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

I am satisfied where I am, university is providing lot of opportunities to explore.
Placements: Placement of our University is not bad but not good too. Here are some Top companies who came for the recruitment in 2022-23 Cognizant - 248 students (B.Teach/MCA) Accenture - 155 students (B.Teach/MCA) Mindtree - 120 students (B.Teach/MCA) TCS: 74 students (B.Teach/MCA) SKOLAR: 49 students (B.Teach) HCL Technologies: 44 students (B.Teach) L&T: 42 students (B.Teach) Capgemini: 41 students (B.Teach/MCA) Teach Mahindra: 29 students (B.Teach/MCA) Infosis: 26 students (B.Teach/MCA) Newgen: 26 students (B.Teach/MCA) Coforge - 25 students (B.Teach) Nokia - 13 students (B.Teach) Airtel - 11 students (B.Teach) Reliance Retail - 10 students (B.Teach) IBM CodeKnack - 8 students (B.Teach) Samsung - 5 students (B.Teach) Blue Star - 4 students (B.Teach) Total no. Of companies visited: 157 (B.Teach/MCA) Total number . of companies visited, including all courses: 580 the highest Performers of B.Teach CSE (2022–23): OpenZeppelin: 1.5cr Microsoft (44LPA) Autodesk 36LPA Commvault: 33 33lpa And many more. Average package: 4.5 LPA .
Infrastructure: facilities and infrastructure of our course is average Wi-Fi is available in all classrooms; Library is fully AC and well maintained with Wi-Fi connectivity and books; Classrooms have AC and Projectors with capacity of approximately 70 students. Labs are also good with all new computers and Mac lab is also available in the University.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable; they teach well and are helpful. The quality of teaching is good, except for some teachers, which you will find at every university or college. Semester exams are not too hard or too easy. Previously, they used to give us the question bank for each subject, and in exam questions, they used to come from that question bank, so it was easy for students to score good marks. But now, this year, there is no question bank provided, and even teachers don't know what question is going to come. They are strict in terms of exams, but they can be passed easily.
Other: Extracurricular Activities are very good Events and festivals are organised very well and there are lot of active clubs and societies where you can participate. All Sports are available in the university, both outdoor and indoor. Campus Crowd are huge but the campus is small w. crowds. Construction is going on campus and is increasing fast.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2026

Campus life is amazing but placements are low due to crowd.
Placements: 90% of students were placed during the 2023-24 placement cycle. The highest package was offered by Autodesk, while the average package across all programs was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Academic infrastructure Wi-Fi: Galgotias is fully Wi-fi enabled, providing 24/7 connectivity with a bandwidth of 1Gbps. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Classrooms are equipped with modern aids including multiple media and audio-visual facilities. Hostel and accommodation: a separate hostel for boys and girls with AC and non-AC with amenities like Wi-fi, drinking water, and housekeeping services.
Faculty: University faculty comprises qualified professionals, including doctorate holders, who are committed to delivering quality education. Galgotias University designs its curriculum in consultation with industry experts to ensure alignment with current market demands. The university follows a relative grading system, which requires a minimum of 40% of the composite score to pass.
Other: The overall quality and infrastructure of the college are good but the placement statistics of the college are not quite good. If you wanna take admission to enjoy the college life then you should go for it.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.2
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Average private university with good infrastructure and a strong student council.
Placements: The placement rate for B.Teach is around 60%, based on what I've seen from my seniors. The average salary package for B.Teach graduates is between 4-5 LPA. Many get placed in companies like Amazon and Infosys through mass recruitment. About 85% of students got internships, although you have to pay for them first. Most of the placements tend to be in sales jobs. Most students geta sales job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good gotta be honest but the cellular connection is so weak your phones can't operate on mobile data. You'll use Wi-Fi most of the time. The quality of food is usually average and rarely below average. Overall the food is tolerable. I'd say 5.5/10.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. The course content is somewhat relevant, but I found studying biochemistry in my second semester to be manageable, even as an average student. The evaluation process seems to be lenient too.
Other: I chose B.Teach in ECE because it gives me the option to explore both fields later on. I wish there were fewer local students, as it can affect the overall college experience. However, Galgotias University has one of the best student councils I've seen, and they really put in effort to organize great events.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial intelligence) - Batch of 2024

2Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Comprehensive Look at the B.Tech in AI & Data Science.
Placements: Placements in our batch have not met our expectations as a university. Some classmates, including myself, still have no offers from the companies we applied to, and we are waiting for employers to send us their offers. The placement situation does not seem very optimistic in the current environment. The highest package for this year is yet to be declared, so information about it is scarce. The lowest package is difficult to determine, but it is clear that the offers are much lower than usual. The average package is substantially lower than expected, which has been a concern for many. In past years, large companies recruited for several positions, but this time, most recruitment has been from startups offering lower remunerations. Marketing firms are leading the recruitment drive. There are no stipend-based internships available at this college, and we must search for them ourselves. Unfortunately, no list of companies offering internships to our batch is available.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs have been modernized, which is a major improvement. Previously, they were not as clean or well-equipped as expected, given the fees charged. Now they have air conditioning and Wi-Fi, making learning more conducive. The labs have enough chemical and physical apparatus, which supports practical exercises. The library is well-managed and provides enormous resources that are useful for academic pursuits. It is a go-to place for books and academic works, and the quiet environment is ideal for studying. Hostels are very expensive, and the room space is small for two students sharing. The food quality in the mess ranges from good to barely edible, which has affected many, including myself. The canteen has some food options, but they could be improved. The sports facilities are fine, with a proper badminton court and a playing field for various sports and games.
Faculty: Most of the B.Tech staff are from South India and Bihar. Faculty members from South India are generally helpful, but they can be strict with rules, which is sometimes unhelpful for students. Some teachers are good and encouraging. They conduct PowerPoint presentations and assign weekly homework, which helps students grasp the lessons. The teaching quality varies. Some teachers are energetic and friendly, while others are rigid and focus too much on rules, which doesn’t always create the best learning environment. The curriculum is relevant and updated to reflect current industry needs, aiming to produce students with desirable qualities. However, its effectiveness in preparing students for the industry depends on the course delivery and the student’s enthusiasm. The exam format fluctuates, and with new executive changes, the pattern now includes mid-term, end-term, and internal checks. Some teachers share model questions, but this is not systematic and doesn't cover all the syllabi. As a result, there is always pressure during exams, and the pass rate can vary depending on the level of student preparation.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, a field I have always been interested in due to advancements in technology and the job opportunities available. The best part of the course is the learning process and personal development it brings, although a disclaimer is necessary—it’s not easy. There is a need for more focus on practical experience rather than just assignments for marks. The placement process needs improvement, and students should be better prepared to meet employer standards. The campus hosts two promotional events on average each month, along with a fest. While management students seem to enjoy college life through group activities, engineering students like myself find the work challenging and time-consuming. The course fees are high, adding pressure. Although there are positive aspects of the course and campus life, focusing more on placements and skill improvement could greatly enhance the situation.
