GJUST B.Ed Eligibility & Highlights 2024
B.Ed is a two-year course divided into four semesters. GJUST offers B.Ed in regular mode at the PG level. After completing graduation, candidates can apply for the B.Ed course. The selection to the B.Ed course is based on merit list prepared by the university.

A pass in bachelor's degree and/ or in the master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for GJUST B.Ed course. Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate or any other qualification equivalent thereto can also apply for the B.Ed course.

The mode of application is online. Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 for General Category (INR 750 for reserved category). No, GJUST admission is entirely merit-based for B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit. However, if two or more candidates have obtained equal marks, the following procedure will be used for the preparation of their merit.
- Candidate senior in age will be given first preference
- If tie still persists, then marks obtained in Class 12 will be considered
- If tie still persists, then marks in Class 10 will be considered to break the tie

GJUST Govt. aided colleges have an intake of 200 whereas, it is 300 for self-financing colleges.The intake is limited. Hence, candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirement to take admission in B.Ed programme of GJUST. Out of the total intake, 15% seats are distributed under All India Category and 85% under Bonafide Residents of Haryana. Below is category-wise reservation for Bonafide Residents of Haryana:
