Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Review.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in companies like Google, CodeSoft, IBM, and Colors Code. The supportive nature of teachers helps them to get good placements. About 80% students get placed, and others start the preparation of the GATE exam to complete their M.Tech from IITs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college and hostel was very primitive and old, and they did not take any action to improve it. The bathroom quality was also very bad. Classrooms were good, but hostel facilities were not good. Food quality was also the worst. College canteen was good, but they charge extra charges compared to others.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive and helpful. They help us in building real life applications based on products. Research facilities were provided by them. Course curriculum was relevant and good, as it helps students get their dream job. Exams were moderate, not lengthy, and hard to crack, but the student failed to score 10 CGPA. The highest CGPA was 9.95. About 80% passed the exam with a 7 CGPA, and above 9, only 10% students scored.
Other: I chose this course because of its good curriculum and extra support towards students, and here the fest is held in the month of December every year. Crowd was there, but only of boys, because the girls campus is different, not a single girl was there in GKV. Things that need to improve are first they allowing girls to study with us, and second, infrastructure.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Most of the students in our college start preparing for the GATE exam. Placement is very bad in my college, as top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft do not come to our campus. Companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, etc., come to our campus for placement. 20% of students get internships in Colors Code Company and IBM.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but the infrastructure is not so good here. However, facilities like the library and Wi-Fi are accessible to all students. Classrooms are loaded with all the facilities, like projectors and digital boards. Hostel facilities are good, but the mess facilities are very bad here. Sports facilities are good, and medical facilities are available for all students.
Faculty: Teachers are easily approachable and helpful. They are also well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant too. Semester exams are mostly based on the PYQ only, so it's moderate and easy to score a good CGPA with good marks. The passing percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because this college is the GFTI's college in Haridwar, so I chose this college. Improvement is needed in case-based questions and real application-based problems. The festival name is Janagani, held in December every year. Extracurricular activities are very joyful and challenging for students.

If anyone only wants to get into a government college, they can opt for this college.
Placements: The placement may be possible in this college if you are a good student and you have knowledge of core and coding subjects, you get placed. But companies came here with offers of 15 LPA. Most of the students don't have proper knowledge. So most of the students are placed with packages of 3-4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college offers many courses. It has good faculty. The whole campus has Wi-Fi support. Classrooms are a little bit not in good condition. The campus contains a very big library, and the engineering department has its own library. Hostel conditions are good but not very good. The quality of food you get will be manageable. Sports facilities are very good. They provide all support in terms of sports or any field.
Faculty: All the semesters and exams run on time. The teachers are well-qualified, all the teachers have M.Tech. The college curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. There are 5 units in each subject and you have to complete any 3 chapters to score good marks in the exam. You have to score a minimum of 40 in each subject to pass.
Other: There is a fest held every year. There is no concept of co-education; both boys and girls have different campuses.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Students do not get placed in this institution. Most of the students start preparing for GATE exam because of bad placement at this college. The highest salary is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Codesoft, IBM, Colors Code, Panasonic, Infosys, TCS Consultancy, etc.
Infrastructure: Old infrastructure is there but all facilities are there including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. Hostel facilities are good. But mess is not so good. Food quality is very bad. Sports facilities are there for every sport. They also provide medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They support us at every step. Course curriculum is relevant and worthy. They make us industry-ready. Exams are not so difficult but they take the exam strictly. Passing percentage is 80 out of 100. Difficult level is moderate.
Other: I chose this course because this college is the GFTIs college, and its course curriculum and faculty members are very good and supportive. I think infrastructure should improve and big buildings should be built. Events and fests are good but I want college to provide some funds to the students for fests and events.

Teachers are good and very supportive.
Placements: Placements are good. Some companies visit the college, and the number of companies coming for placements is increasing. Placements are better than private institutions or universities, which demand higher fees. If GFTA is good and we qualify for GATE, then we will be placed in the PSUs also.
Infrastructure: As we know, the institute is spread over 100 acres, so the infrastructure is good. It has a good hostel life with good wardens, as they keep the discipline. It is really worth it. The hostel is provided at a low cost along with the mess. Grounds are also there.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, knowledgeable, and supportive. They are really very helpful and always there to help students. They keep students motivated and help them learn more beyond the syllabus and curriculum. The design is also good, and it helps in my career. The course curriculum is good.
Other: The college is big and has many hostels. There is no ragging. The college is a bit far from the university, and both are good.

I do not prefer this college for this course. I can say there are better options than this.
Placements: Hardly 30% - 40% of people get on-campus placements. The highest salary package offered I have ever heard is of LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Panasonic, and many others. The placement they claim is not as they say.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not very good. I prefer a private room. The food is not very good, and the hygiene is also not good. The campus has the same problem. It does not offer good facilities. Everything is average or below average. The labs are not good.
Faculty: Faculty-Professors: Senior academics with Ph.D.s leading core subjects and projects. Associate/Assistant Professors: Handle foundational and specialized courses. Lab Instructors: Assist in hands-on sessions. Guest Lecturers: Industry professionals offering insights into practical applications. Curriculum-1st Year: Common courses like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, basic programming, and engineering fundamentals across all branches. 2nd Year: Core branch subjects (e.g., Data Structures for CSE, Thermodynamics for Mechanical). 3rd Year: Advanced core subjects and electives (e.g., Machine Learning for CSE, Fluid Mechanics for Civil). 4th Year: Final projects, internships, and advanced electives. Exams-Semester-wise: Includes mid-term tests, lab evaluations, final theory exams, and project assessments.
