Good for self-study but absolutely no college life.
Placements: Placements for EE are average. About 40 percent of students got placed, mostly in IT firms like TCS and Wipro. Core companies rarely visit. The highest package is 8 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Most students find off-campus internships. Top roles offered are GET and Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite decent and the campus environment is very peaceful. For the EE branch, we have labs with most of the necessary equipment, though some machines are a bit old. Wi-Fi is available on campus but the speed fluctuates. The library is good and has all the required books. Hostel rooms are basic but fine. The mess food is just okay, like typical hostel food, nothing special. We also have a ground for sports like cricket and basic medical facilities on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are qualified and most of them hold PhDs. They are helpful if you go to them with your doubts, but teaching is mostly theoretical. The course curriculum is standard but a bit traditional. It does not make you completely industry-ready, so you have to learn extra practical skills on your own to get a good job. Semester exams are moderate. If you attend classes and study properly before exams, you can pass easily. The passing percentage is usually around 80 to 85 percent.
Other: One major drawback of this college is that there is almost no 'college life' or enjoyment here. There are absolutely no parties, big functions, or grand fests. The college environment is very strict, and the focus is strictly only on studies and academics. If you are expecting a fun campus life, you will be disappointed. I really wish the college would organise more events, fests, and extracurricular activities so students can relax and enjoy. On the positive side, this quiet and strict environment gives you a lot of free time for self-study and focusing on your own skills and projects.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure, facilities, and average placement.
Placements: The number of students who got placed in our course is very low. Most students tend to move for a better option, either they go for off-campus or higher studies. The highest offered in my course is till now 12 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is between 3 LPA and 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies vary from year to year. Most of them are service-based companies whose names you have heard.
Infrastructure: There are smart boards in every classroom. Also, if it is present, there is no use of the smart board. Teachers don't use it very often. They always give theoretical knowledge instead of practical. The infrastructure is below average many classroom is need to be repair case the classroom is too old that paint gets fade out from wall. There is Wi-Fi but it is of no use. The library is too small that sometimes if we go to study the seats get almost full and you will have to study in another classroom instead.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average. I can say this CSE course is relevant but needs some changes because in 1st year you will have to study everything except the core subject, which I often find frustrating for the student, and it feels like a waste of time to study the subjects you don't find the scope in it. The course is not making us industry-ready. The semester exam is too easy that one can pass even by studying one night before the exam. You need to score above 40 marks in every subject to pass it.
Other: I chose this course just because of the growing demand for CS engineers in rapidly growing AI fields. The best thing about my course is I can study it from anywhere. I don't need to attend all the classes and depend on the teacher.

Do not come to this college.
Placements: On-campus placement is very low. Companies come here, but students are unable to crack interviews because of a lack of skills and communication. About 200 students are enrolled in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. Last year, only 30 students were placed.
Infrastructure: Bad hostel accommodation. They give a table, a chair, a bed, and an almirah. Four students stay in a single room. Monkeys are in the hostel. The hostel is only for first-year students. It is also 4 km away from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). A bus is available. The mess food is very bad, filled only with potatoes and oil, and the raita is very bad. The water is bad because the water purifier and water cooler are not maintained.
Faculty: Students arrive late at the start of the session. Some teachers do not teach anything and waste time in class. Even after writing everything, marks get cut. Students mug up on the last day and vomit everything in the exam hall. If you do previous-year questions, you can get marks.
Other: I do engineering because you can go into any field after that.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is a good college but with average placements.
Placements: Placement is not good, but, you can try off-campus, and it's a must to do an internship by 2nd year only. Here, the top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and others. The top roles offered are Front-end software engineer. The percentage of students getting internships is quite good, so there is no problem at all.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the college, even in classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. The infrastructure is also quite good in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). But if we talk about facilities in the hostel, then you're in a place; you won't even find good food or water.
Faculty: Exams are really good! Just prepare using previous year questions. Here, teachers are very supportive. You just need to behave properly and not mess with them for being cool. They will definitely guide you in a good way to get placed with needed marks.

I did not expect to learn such boring subjects in CSE.
Placements: I am in my 1st year, so I don't have much knowledge, but what I have heard from my seniors is that on-campus placements are not too good, but off-campus can be found. Our 4th year senior bagged a 28 LPA off campus, so it is not that you can't get good jobs, but our on-campus average is 8-10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is mid. No proper bathrooms in the hostel, broken tiles, and the geyser doesn't work. Taps are broken. No fresh paint on the walls of the hostel, and it looks messy. The food of mess is quite good compared to others, but they sometimes delay. The sports quality is good, you get a badminton court, volleyball court in front of the hostel, and can play anytime, borrowing them from the hostel itself.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality is not too good. They just come over and spill the mug up syllabus. The semester exams are quite tough, I got an 8.4 CGPA. The passing percentage is 40, including sessional and semester exams.
Other: I was fascinated by computers and their working from my early life, and always wanted to create some wonderful software through programming languages. I wish to become a good quality full-stack developer and get a package of around 20-30 LPA.

    GKV Haridwar Uttarakhand College review.
Placements: About 36 percent of the students are placed in the last 5 years. Placement is very low and unpredictable here. You cannot say you will be placed in this college as placement of this college is very low, i.e., 3 LPA. Companies like IBM come to the college. Roles like software intern are offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in the university, but the campus is too small as compared to the university. Our chancellor does want to make our GFTI's college private by their power. Classrooms are not so well furnished like other colleges. Hostel facilities are acceptable, but mess and food facilities are not acceptable because they give lauki and pumpkin curry, which is the worst in my view. I never like the food quality of my hostel. They provide medical facilities. Sports and games are also organized here.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They clear our doubts even after the class. The course is relevant and they help us with internship opportunities from other colleges like IIT Roorkee and IIT Mandi. Semester exams are moderate and easy because mostly the questions they ask are from PYQs only, so we can crack exams by studying one day before the exams. Not like toppers, but you can pass with a good CGPA.
Other: I choose this course because of the affordability and course curriculum. The teachers here help us in clearing GATE exams because they also know that they can't afford big companies to come to college, so they motivate us to crack GATE exams. I wish to make my college better, if my professors understand my words and the funds that the government gives to college, they must spend on college run by the topper students. Then only it will touch the sky. Scholarships are also not given by the college. Fests are held here in the month of December.
