    GKV - Haridwar College Review.
Placements: 100 percent placement takes place in the electrical department. Students are hardworking and self-disciplined, which helps them to crack the highest packages. Top recruiters are like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. Students from 3rd year or 4th year easily get an internship from Infosys, TCS, Colors Code, etc. About 10 out of 15 easily get internship opportunities. Top roles like software development are offered based on skill.
Infrastructure: Department infrastructure is overwhelming, but it could be even better if they renovated it every year, at least by colors. All facilities are there like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. Hostel facilities are not so good, but we can live there as they fulfill basic facilities, though the mess is the worst; food quality is very bad. Medical facilities are there. Sports and games are also played once during the sports fest.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable too. They support us in challenging all the real-world problems on our own. Course curriculum is very relevant. It makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not so difficult, as they help us in excelling in the exam by their assignment questions and also PYQ questions. Passing percentage is 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course as I got very less percentile, i.e., 80 percent in JEE Main, because of which I got admission in this college. Best thing is the practical and real-life application based problems. Improvement should be there in the fund raising, as college uses all funds for the welfare of professors only. They don't invest their money in the college. Events named JANAGANI happen once in a year, full of joy and happiness. Connectivity is good with IIT Roorkee, but students from GKV don't allow visiting IIT Roorkee.

Overall, infrastructure, placement, and campus life are average.
Placements: The placement rate at Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is pretty good, like 80-90% students got placed, but mostly students prefer off-campus placements due to very low payment. The average package is around 4-5 LPA. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, HCL, Microsoft, etc., come here but do not provide much money.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, Wi-Fi and labs are available, but sometimes Wi-Fi does not work properly, classrooms have good capacity and have all the resources required for studies. The food at the hostel is good, there is a badminton and volleyball court available in the hostel, but the gym has not been available since last year due to some issues.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and are of a friendly nature. They pay attention to students whether they are learning or not. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. You are considered passed if you score more than 40 marks in the subject, but your overall percentage should be greater than 50%.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because it provides vast opportunities in future. I think awareness about what companies prefer to take must improve their average package. Events and Fest here are all organised by students. The campus area should be disappointing, but people here are all good. There are many extracurricular activities performed on campus. Besides, it promotes sports, there is also a cricket tournament named GPL ( Gurukul Primary League) that is held every year.

    Gurukul Kangri University – Review
Placements: Placement offered in this college is average, as most of the students start their preparation for the GATE exam. But placements are there, with the highest as 12 LPA, average as 6 LPA, and lowest as 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. About 80% of students crack packages of around 12 LPA. Roles like Frontend, Backend, Cybersecurity, and AI-based services like AWS and Cloud Computing type roles are given to the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the hostel is good but not very good, as it is very old, but they provide all the facilities. Labs and classrooms are well-furnished, and a playground and stadium with gym facilities are there. Hostel facilities are good, but mess food is not so good , it is the worst, I can say. Medical and sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and highly qualified. They support us whenever we need them. Their teaching quality is good, and they are just like our friends. The course curriculum is very relevant and good for students to tackle real-world application-based problems. Semester examinations are not so difficult, but one-day-before-exam study can make it more difficult. Passing percentage is 80 out of 100%.
Other: I chose this course because this college is one of the best GFTIs in Uttarakhand as far as I know, but there are some disadvantages like lack of funding and old infrastructure of the building. Events and fests like Janagani are held here in the month of December every year, and also the freshers’ party is organized by the second-year students for the first-year students at their own cost.

Placements: 80% of the students get placed in my college in electrical department a battery cell company panasonic takes most of the students in their company. The highest placement is 12 Lacs per annum. The lowest placement is about 3 Lacs per annum. Average package is about 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting company is google microsoft panasonic codesoft etc. Top roles like management and project manager jobs are provided by the company.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good and well-equipped with Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are also there with all the facilities. The quality of the hostel are good but quality of the mess is not so good but food quality of the canteen is awesome and good but they take charges. Sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive and well qualified. They are knowledgeable and approachable after the class. Course curriculum is very relevant and they make student industry ready. Exams are not so difficult. Level of the exam are moderate and good. Passing percentage is 90%. As all students easily clear the exam.
Other: This course is relevant and good for industry ready purpose. Improvement should be there in the course curriculum is that thay should teach case based questions and practical questions. Fest is held here in the month of December and the name of the fest is JANAGANI held every year with full of joy and happiness.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in companies like Google, CodeSoft, IBM, and Colors Code. The supportive nature of teachers helps them to get good placements. About 80% students get placed, and others start the preparation of the GATE exam to complete their M.Tech from IITs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college and hostel was very primitive and old, and they did not take any action to improve it. The bathroom quality was also very bad. Classrooms were good, but hostel facilities were not good. Food quality was also the worst. College canteen was good, but they charge extra charges compared to others.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive and helpful. They help us in building real life applications based on products. Research facilities were provided by them. Course curriculum was relevant and good, as it helps students get their dream job. Exams were moderate, not lengthy, and hard to crack, but the student failed to score 10 CGPA. The highest CGPA was 9.95. About 80% passed the exam with a 7 CGPA, and above 9, only 10% students scored.
Other: I chose this course because of its good curriculum and extra support towards students, and here the fest is held in the month of December every year. Crowd was there, but only of boys, because the girls campus is different, not a single girl was there in GKV. Things that need to improve are first they allowing girls to study with us, and second, infrastructure.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Most of the students in our college start preparing for the GATE exam. Placement is very bad in my college, as top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft do not come to our campus. Companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, etc., come to our campus for placement. 20% of students get internships in Colors Code Company and IBM.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but the infrastructure is not so good here. However, facilities like the library and Wi-Fi are accessible to all students. Classrooms are loaded with all the facilities, like projectors and digital boards. Hostel facilities are good, but the mess facilities are very bad here. Sports facilities are good, and medical facilities are available for all students.
Faculty: Teachers are easily approachable and helpful. They are also well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant too. Semester exams are mostly based on the PYQ only, so it's moderate and easy to score a good CGPA with good marks. The passing percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because this college is the GFTI's college in Haridwar, so I chose this college. Improvement is needed in case-based questions and real application-based problems. The festival name is Janagani, held in December every year. Extracurricular activities are very joyful and challenging for students.
