Q:   Can I join MMMUT Gorakhpur directly?
A: 

No, direct admission in MMMUT is not possible. This autonomous university give admission on the basis of scores obtained in entrance examinations. All the seats of B.Tech is filled on the basis of JEE Main score, for BBA and B.Pharm you have to qualify CUET UG, to get admission in all the PG courses except M.Tech you should qualify CUET PG, and for M.Tech, admissions are given on the basis of GATE or Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) score. After entrance examination subsequent rounds of online counselling is done so as to get branch accordingly your rank secured . According to the rank obtained by the student, the seat is allotted without any biasing. Thus, you have to work hard to get into MMMUT Gorakhpur.

The total seat intake for MMMUT MBA courses is 75. Admission in this course is given on the basis of CUET (PG) score or Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) which is conducted by MMMUT itself. Placements: The placement is okay. Mostly mass recruiters come here, and mainly service-based companies for IT roles. Consulting for core Bhart Electronics Limited came last year for Electronics and Communication Engineering. Hummingwave has given the highest on-campus package for the last 3 years, approximately 22.5 LPA. Around 100 companies visit every year, and about 80 percent of students are placed. I
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mostly old, with functional instruments and labs but needs considerable improvement. Continuous new infrastructure is being made, which is great. The recent labs, like the IoT lab, are well done. The hostels are all old; they have been renovated over time but require significant improvement. A new hostel is being built with air conditioning facilities as well.
Faculty: The faculty is good but seems reluctant to teach, which is the best part. They send Ph.D. students to teach who often lack knowledge. Attendance is handed out easily by them, so there are very few teachers who want to teach; most send in Ph.D. students. Additionally, many of the assignments are also graded by Ph.D. students, and marks depend on how well you can convince them.
Other: The overall location is a point of concern. Events occur throughout the year, providing everyone with a good opportunity to participate and win. Some events require a participation fee, while others are free. There are also good prize amounts, like 3000 for 1st place, 2000 for 2nd, and 1000 for 3rd. The crowd is diverse, with people from all over Uttar Pradesh, as well as nearby states like Bihar, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir; there are also a few Northeast students. However, the cultural fest isn’t very impressive; no famous names will be present.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in civil engineering was around 23–30%. The highest package offered was 6.65 LPA by L&T and the lowest package offered was around 2.5 LPA by a Geotech firm in Noida. Top recruiting companies for civil engineers are L&T and ABG for the roles of Graduate Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: The departments are well-equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure to support students academic and practical learning needs. High-speed internet access is available throughout the campus, as is access to a digital library for up-to-date research and study.
Faculty: The faculty members had advanced degrees and extensive experience in their respective fields, ensuring a deep understanding of the subjects they taught. The infrastructure is good, but placements are not good. Overall, it is average.
Placements: Approximately 60 to 70% of students were placed in the electrical department. The highest package in the electrical engineering department is 14 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like LNT, BHEL, etc., recruit from here. Approximately 60% of students intern at PSUs. The top role offered is electrical work.
Infrastructure: Classrooms for first-year students are fully clean, and four air conditioners are installed in each classroom, which also features a digital board. The hostel facilities are average at best, but Wi-Fi is available 24 hours in both the hostel and classrooms, and there is a four-seater room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Most of them are graduates or postgraduates from IITs, and their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and every course has its practical components. Semester exams are neither too difficult nor too easy; it is of average difficulty, with an 80% pass rate among students who passed.

I am satisfied with infrastructure, teaching, and placements, but not with mess food and labs.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 52 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Flipkart, Infosys, and Walmart. 50-60% of students get internships mostly in Infosys and Walmart. A software engineer is the top role offered with high packages.
Infrastructure: Facilities on our campus are impressive. We get access to Wi-Fi all over the campus and hostels. Classrooms are very clean and professional with 5-6 ACs. Central library is one of the largest we will ever see in our life with every kind of book. Labs are not that good. Some systems are very old and don't work properly. Hostels condition and infrastructure are not good here. Food is very bad with very much oil in it. Medical facilities and canteen are first class. It also has a very large stadium for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. The course curriculum is very relevant compared to other colleges. Semester exams are medium to difficult side. If we have practiced and studied we would definitely pass exams. The pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I am interested in computer science courses and coding, so I chose this college. I would say the lab facility should be improved and more attention should be given to students in the lab. Events and fests are very good with much to learn in every event we participate.

College life is good with no burden.
Placements: My batch is fantastic, and many students are good coders. The college teachers are also good, but the placement opportunities in the college are not sufficient for students. The on-campus placement is very poor, whereas the off-campus placement for the passing-out batch is much better.
Infrastructure: The academy's infrastructure is good, and the girls' hostel has a new building, whereas the boys' hostel is very old, making it less suitable, with broken windows. The college has a very large library with a huge collection of books, along with digital library access. Wi-Fi facility are available throughout the hostel with good internet speed. A bed and a table with a chair are provided for every student. The quality of food in the mess is average. Registration is done during physical reporting. In the academic block for the first year, all classrooms are equipped with smart boards and microphones. Each subject has three classes and two lab sessions per week, and the second Saturday of every month is a holiday. The academy's infrastructure is good, and the girls' hostel has a new building, whereas the boys' hostel is very old, making it less suitable, with broken windows. The college has a very large library with a vast collection of books and also provides access to digital libraries.
Faculty: The course curriculum in IT and CS is well-structured, and the syllabus is good.
Other: The tuition fee of the college is Rs. 1,32,000 per year, with an additional Rs. 29,000 for the hostel and Rs. 36,000 for the mess. If you have the required documents, you can apply for the UP scholarship. The fee is the same for all categories, including ST, SC, OBC, and General, but the scholarship amount varies based on the category. For SC and ST students, it is around Rs. 1,00,000, while for General, EWS, and OBC students, it is around Rs. 50,000. In each semester, students organize club events.
