This was formed in Haridwar the famous holy place in India on the banks of river Ganges. The avowed aim was to establish a learning institution as per the ancient Indian tradition of Gurukul. Subsequently two more campuses for girls wear also established in the same tradition of Gurukul. 

This institution offers many courses in varied fields and also MBA. The institute accepts scores of CUET-UG or CUET- PG for giving admissions. The Gurukul also accepts CAT score for its MBA programme.
