Goa University offers two-year MA programme divided into four semesters. MA is available in various specialisations, namely Economics, English, Environmental Science, Hindi, etc. Aspirants who have completed any of the UG degree can apply for MA. Admission to MA programme of Goa University is based on GU-ART conducted by the university. Selected candidates need to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Goa University MA Admission 2026: How to Apply?
The Goa University application process generally starts in May/ June. In order to get admission to MA at Goa University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility for this course. After that, students must fill an online application form on the University's official website. In the Goa University, the passing rates are divergent in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students under the UG have to pass a minimum of 40 percent aggregate mark on a combination of theory and practical. In respect to PG, both internal and end-of the semester assessment needs a minimum of 50 percent. Such criteria are able to support academic standards and fairness of all courses.
