College offers good academics and fair placements.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was good with a balance of theory and practical examples. The B.Com curriculum was relevant and built a strong foundation. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 85- 90%.

Review of V.M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education.

Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified to teach their subjects, both theoretically and practically. The curriculum is very relevant to the hospitality industry as it teaches day-to-day operational knowledge that is vital in becoming a good hotelier. Important subjects like Food and Beverages Control, Consumer Behavior, and Food Microbiology are good examples. The semester exams are good as they depend on the student’s interest in the subjects, so the difficulty is not much. A lot of industry visits, t...

I'm absolutely satisfied with the institute.

Faculty: For me personally, my teachers are really helpful, well-qualified and very knowledgeable. The teachers are well prepared and ready to answer all the students ' questions. Mostly, handouts are provided by the faculty. The course is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready, but again, 50% is theoretical knowledge and 50% is practical knowledge, and it is a 100% when you put your full dedication and hard work together. The semester exams in my college are not very difficult because our fa...

Absolutely satisfied with my decision to join VMSIIHE.

Faculty: All teachers are very knowledgeable and help us with any queries that we have. The teaching material used by every teacher made the class more interactive and made it easier for us to grasp the information provided. All that I learnt and the institute has instilled in me makes me stand out among other candidates.

Underwhelmed by placements and decent faculty.

Faculty: Faculty were generally helpful and well-qualified, with most instructors demonstrating subject matter expertise. Teaching quality was consistent. Most teachers explained concepts clearly responded to student queries politely and returned assignments and exams in a timely manner. Faculty also provided feedback that guided students to improve.

Peaceful campus and good teachers, but no placements for B.Com/BA/B.Sc students.

Faculty: According to me, most of the teachers in our college are quite good. Some are average, but some teachers are very inspiring. Especially my HOD, she's amazing and the best teacher I've had there. The course is good, but I feel the course alone is not enough to get a job. We need to learn extra skills or maybe do another 2-year course to become industry-ready, as we don't get placements from college. The semester exams are not too difficult. If you attend classes and study properly, you can pass e...

Faculty: Faculty members of the geology department are very friendly and well-experienced in their respective subjects. Moreover, their teaching is well-balanced, theoretical and practical. The semester exams are easy to pass and not difficult to score, though the exams are strict.

Reality of M.Sc. in Marine Sciences from Goa University.

Faculty: Many teachers are biased and support favoritism. If you don't stay in their good books, you might not be treated well. Teaching quality of few teachers is fair, but others are really bad at teaching. The curriculum is relevant but there are a lot of things that are necessary to be learned from a research point of view. But they don't really teach them. It definitely does not polish the student, least that teachers find the positives within the student and guide them to use it efficiently. The se...

The hostel is good and calm. There is equipment for playing purposes.

Faculty: I chose a program within the Department of Applied Geology, i.e. the M.Sc. tech in applied Geophysics course which I had chose because of its uniqueness and for its job aspects and research aspect which is quite good in the field of Oil and gas Industries. The curriculum prepared us well with various mentorship from different universities and which make us learn well about day to day application in the Geophysics field.

Exemplary campus, proficient faculty, good placements, and a great college experience.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and teach well, they provide an atmosphere that is challenging in a healthy way for growth, as well as an atmosphere of welcome. The curriculum too is useful and relevant now with NEP. The syllabus is hectic and vast as well. There are counsellors too, to help and guide.

Being a tertiary medical setup, it consists of the best teachers and clinicians with a holistic knowledge of pedagogy and medicine. It is a great teaching medical center.

Absolutely satisfied to be a part of it, as it's one of Asia's oldest medical colleges.

Faculty: Faculty is helpful, and all exams are conducted in a regulated pattern. We have mentors assigned to us, and they keep a check on us all the time. Our curriculum is based on CBME, and we have OSCEs that are kept every now and then. We also have tests.
