Underwhelmed by placements and decent faculty.

Placements: In our batch, there were well over 200 students enrolled in the course. Unfortunately, internships were not offered at all during our programme. Despite that setback, around 15-20% of students received placement offers. Many were hired for clerical roles such as data entry clerk, office clerk, and administrative assistant in small private firms and local businesses.

Infrastructure and facilities are really good.

Placements: I don't have information about the placements or top recruiters. A 5 CGPA is required. The college placement cell plays a pivotal role in the placement process. These dedicated departments work tirelessly to establish connections with companies, organize placement drives, and prepare students for interviews. I do not have further information.

Peaceful campus and good teachers, but no placements for B.Com/BA/B.Sc students.

Placements: In my course, there are no official placements offered through the college. As per my knowledge, no companies visit for campus recruitment, so there are no specific highest, lowest, or average salary packages. I'm not aware of any top recruiting companies or internship opportunities provided by the college in our course. However, I would like to highlight that students from our college often become more creative and confident because we are encouraged to participate in various activities and eve...

Goa vibes are different, enjoy college life.

Placements: College has good placements, with a placement rating of 3.9 out of 5. Many students are placed, and the highest package offered by a company was 8 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA, with roles primarily in the research and development field.

Active campus, great events, and practical tech education.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed with average packages around 1.2 LPA and the highest at 3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and ICICI Bank visited for placements. About 30% of students got internships at firms like Cipla and Taj. Roles offered included web developer, software trainee, and support staff. While placement is decent, many students opt for off-campus jobs or higher studies. The course is well-structured and NEP-compliant with focus on both technical and soft skills.

Reality of M.Sc. in Marine Sciences from Goa University.

Placements: The course is limited to 20 students at once. There are no placements that the department provides. Instead, they won't allow me to opt for internships during the course. Institutes like NIO are good exposure but they are also disappointed with the level of knowledge students are passing out from GU. Attendance is another hot topic.
