Satisfied with my college.

Placements: I am a student of BCA at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, currently in the 3rd semester. My passing out batch will be 2027. Placement criteria of this college is good. If we give rate out of 5 that would be 4.5. The highest package of my course is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. The quality of hostel is good for the students, and the quality of food is also good. They provide different menu everyday for the students. The facilities for sports and medical in my thinking this college is the best.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good at making concepts understandable, and they give real-life examples. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are moderate, and the pass percentage is 20 out of 50.

The college has good placements, infrastructure, but average faculty.

Placements: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and one of the major highlights of my course is the placement opportunities that the college provides. The placement record here is consistently good, and students from different academic backgrounds get the chance to sit for interviews with reputed organizations. What makes it more encouraging is that the placement process is not limited to only the top-ranking students. Even average students, with the right preparation and guidance, are able to secure good jobs through campus placements. This shows that the institution focuses not only on academics but also on placements.

Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but the infrastructure is good. I have heard from friends, the hostels are decent, with all-time Wi-Fi and water coolers running 24 hours. The classrooms are more than good. The hostel is good, the mess food is decent, the canteen has variety, plus we have medical help, and sports and games facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are okay, but you have to study by yourself. They are qualified, but the teaching quality is average, and some are really helpful. The BCA curriculum is mostly relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are not very tough if you study regularly, and the pass percentage is quite high.

Other: If you can do hard work, you can easily get a job.

Good Placements, Average Faculty, Great Facilities.

Placements: Around 90% were placed last year. The highest package is 84.88 LPA, average 5.38 LPA, median 4.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Nearly 70% of students secured internships with top companies like IBM, Adobe, and developed roles.

Infrastructure: Great Wi-Fi for work, the labs are well-equipped, spacious classrooms. The canteen food is good, I am not a hostel student but my friends are and they say that hostel food is decent. Medical facilities are good, and sports options are available.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They are always available to help and assist with doubts. The course curriculum is updated and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams aren't quite difficult; it requires 33% for passing.

Other: I chose BCA to pursue my passion for teaching. The course offers a solid curriculum with great faculty and labs. However, more real-world applications earlier on would be helpful. The campus is lively, and all know that Graphic Era is famous for events and fests, and the crowd is diverse. Connectivity is great, and scholarships are available, though the process could be smoother. Plenty of extracurricular activities to join.

My college have great placement drive in this year.

Placements: 50% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 8.5 LPA and the lowest package is 5.6 LPA. Infosys and Coding Ninja are recruiting companies. 75% of students got internships from my course. Frontend is the most important role offered in my course. Students have to score at least 65% to sit in the placement drive.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, digital board, library, lab, and all facilities are available. Hostel cleaning is done. The quality of mess food is very good, water cooler is available, and it is cleaned daily. Sports equipment is available. The hostel faculty is good and the environment of the hostel is very friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in solving doubts and they explain topics briefly. The course has career-based subjects like this, management, math, DSA, etc. Exams are not difficult, and it's easy to pass an exam at this university. You just have to focus on your studies.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't have a good percentage in 12th. I scored only 65%. There is a big fest in my college known as Grafest.

I'm satisfied with the faculty and all the things the university provides us.

Placements: 92% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are Capgemini, Infosys, etc. 67% of students got internships in Infosys, Capgemini, and many more companies. Top roles offered in my course are as follows like software engineer, web developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Mac labs, Wi-Fi, Well-furnished classrooms, libraries, etc., are available. Good quality facilities are provided like in hostel mess and canteens' food is of good quality medical facilities are also good as the college has it's own hospital, GEIMS Dehradun. There are many sports and games which students can play.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable and provide us with their best teaching quality. Course curriculum is relevant it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a kind of tough one and the passing percentage are like in practical you need to score at least 50% and in theory you have to score 40%.

Other: As I've got an all-time interest in coding I chose this course and the best thing about this course is that it makes students industry-ready. The one thing I must suggest to be better in our course is that the university must upgrade the labs a little bit more. There are many events and extracurricular activities that take place on college campus. Scholarship is also available for students who are willing to give it. The main fest of the college is Grafest which lasts up to 3-4 days and is much enjoyed by students.

Disappointed with the placements at this college. It is overhyped and not up to the mark.

Placements: Around 50–60 students in total get placed out of 650 students in our batch, which is 2022–2025. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Most recruiting companies are service-based and take students for service-based roles. Overall, placements are really bad.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Libraries have AC, but there is no AC in classrooms. Sometimes, the fans do not work properly in the classroom. There is Wi-Fi on campus with a limit of 1.5 GB. The hostels' infrastructure is good and very comfortable to live in, but they are expensive, and the food is bad, not worth it at all.

Faculty: Teachers of core subjects like DSA and WebDev are good. They help us with all our doubts and teach very well in class. However, most teachers aren’t as good, especially those of important subjects like software development, who teach via traditional methods like using PPTs, making their classes boring. The curriculum is very outdated, and the exams are easy enough to pass even if you study only the night before.

Other: I chose BCA because I have Biology in my +2 and didn’t get a seat in an MBBS college. I want to pursue Computer Science, and my reason for choosing this college is its location and direct admission. GEU offers a very balanced environment to study. It doesn’t provide very good placements, but it has many extracurricular activities happening on campus all the time. Some teachers are really good while some are bad. I also receive a 10% scholarship from GEU because of my 12th-grade results.
