Review of GEHU - Graphic Era Hill University Bhimtal.

Placements: Placements are good for computer and ECE students. I am an EC student. Some of my friends are from civil and mechanical branches, placements for them are not good. Overall, the placements are good for MBA, MCA and marketing students, and it is excellent for computer and electronics students.

Infrastructure: It is in the lap of nature, and I like the infrastructure of our college. Classrooms are neat and clean. Medical facilities are available. Table tennis rooms and playgrounds for sports are available. A canteen and a departmental store are available. The library is good for students to study.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, and I love the way they treat and teach students. They teach in a well-mannered way. Courses offered by our college are B.Tech, BBA, MBA, MCA, B.Com, B.Sc. agriculture and some new courses have also been added. The management is very bad. Overall, the college is good.

Satisfied. Knowledgeable faculty and awesome infrastructure with great weather.

Placements: Placements are above average as compared to other colleges in Uttarakhand. Placement percentage is 70% to 80%. Highest salary package offered is 7 LPA to 8 LPA, whereas an average salary offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Hitachi, Capgemini are some of the top companies which visited the college for placements. Few start-ups also visited the college for recruitment. They offered the roles of a software engineer, development engineer. The college didn't provide internship yet; students have to manage by themselves.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi which is not unlimited, but 500 MB per day with every unique Id. Labs are high-tech, classrooms are like smart classes where most of the course is done via projector. First aid is provided, and there is always an ambulance provided to the students in case of an emergency. Sports and games are good enough, mainly for the hostlers. Canteen food is expensive as compared to the outside food. Hostel rooms are average where three students live together, a separate bed and an almirah is given for each. This campus is now under construction where some buildings are yet to complete.

Faculty: The faculty are helpful enough and has a minimum qualification of teaching with good knowledge. Smart way of teaching is used, where they use projectors to show the concepts in the form of videos, images etc. Practical knowledge is also provided from models. Student to faculty ratio is 20:1 which is good for good education. Industry exposure is provided to the students, where they are taken to industries like Ramnagar ESTC MSME, Sidcul Rudrapur. The course curriculum is up to the date and is according to the industry requirements.
