This is a very decent college, I would say.
Placements: There is approximately a 60% placement rate in our college, with many students going to reputed places and others going to mass recruiters like TCS. The highest package earned in 2023 was 84.8 LPA. In 2024, it was 58 LPA, and in 2025, it is 74 LPA. The lowest is generally 3 LPA with recruiters like TCS, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. TCS and Infosys are mass recruiters, while companies like Amazon, Dealshop, Google, and other reputed companies take 6–15 students each. Almost 40% of get paid internships. Top positions are in software hub management with 56 LPA and the cybersecurity field.
Infrastructure: Labs are good with modern computers and up-to-date software. The library is not so good, with only seating accommodation and no additional books. The food in the mess and hostels is clean and good. The food quality is decent with a reasonable price and waiting time.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, and are always upfront to help students in need. The curriculum for the course is not so based on today’s world, but it helps students build a basic understanding of computer systems and knowledge. But, there is a need to introduce a new and improved curriculum. The semester exams are of average or medium level, with some percentage of students 10% failing and getting backlogs, but the rest 90% pass with ease and have good marks. The pass percentage is above 40 marks or above 5 grades in each subject.
Other: My course is computer science, which is very relevant for the future and will help me build a successful life. It would be better to have improvements in the curriculum so that students can have some real-life knowledge, which is not so old curriculum from the 90s. Events and fests in our college are outstanding, with many celebrities showing their presence. There is a decent crowd here. This college has a very good scholarship scheme.

Reality of Graphic Era University.
Placements: The placements are around 60 to 65 percent. The placements are mostly based on the students' skill level. The highest package this year was around 54 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, Paytm, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. The hostels are well-maintained and secure. The students are provided with all basic amenities. There is clean food and water available. There are sports facilities available. The campus is also well-equipped. There is a well-maintained library also.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and also well-qualified, but a few can be a bit uneasy sometimes. The curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. The semester exams are not very tough nor very easy and around 95 percent of students are easily able to pass the exams.
Other: The university hosts many events throughout the session. Some things can be improved for sure like there are a bit too many students as per the university size and facilities and thus the timetable is also a bit disturbed.

Inside Graphic Era hill university.
Placements: The placement record of the college is average to good. Around 60 percent of students get placements. The highest package was around 40 LPA, with the average around 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Google, TCS, Microsoft, and Paytm, etc. However, there is no guarantee for a student to be placed in a good company. It also depends on your own skills, too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with modern facilities. There is a well-maintained library, too. The hostels have all the basic amenities for students, and safety is also provided. The canteen of the hostel is also good. There are playing and sports arenas present for students.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and also well-experienced, but a few can be a bit uneasy to get along with sometimes. The curriculum is good, but in a few places, it feels outdated. The semester exams are moderately tough, and around 96 percent of students easily pass.
Other: I chose the college because it was a reputed institution and was also not very far for me. Some things that can be improved would be the faculty should be a bit more concerned towards the students, and the timetable should be improved. The college hosts many fests during the year.

Placements: The university provides upto 40 to 50 percent on campus placements. The highest package last year was around 54 lpa. The companies include Google, TCS, Paytm, etc. Around 30-45 percent students are offered internships. The amount of placements is quite lower than the university claims, as per the report from alumni.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All the classes and labs are well equipped with modern instruments and facilities. There is wifi available all over the campus. There are outdoor and indoor games available. There are many clubs available for the students to join. The hostels are well maintained and secured with good food and amenities.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are supportive but a few are a bit rude towards students. The curriculum is updated and there are frequent tests held. The semester exams are moderate to little difficult and the passing percentage of students is around 95 percent. The university aims for making the students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for B.Tech. CSE because GEHU has a good reputation for this particular course and it is in trend. The syllabus in a few subjects seems outdated, which can be improved. There are frequent fests held on the campus. There are plenty of extracurricular activities available. The fees are a bit expensive too.

Good campus and facilities but faculty are not soo good, average in placements.
Placements: I am a second-year student, and till now, in my batch, around 15 students have gotten internships in different companies. In my course (Bachelor of Technology), the highest package is 84 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS. Around 20% get internships in companies like PayPal, Atlassian, Amazon. The top role will be a Senior Consultant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on every floor, but the internet speed is slow due to a jammer placed in the campus. Classes are not in good condition; many benches and doors are broken. AC is available only in 3 classes; the rest have fans. The library is very good; it has every book. Hostel food is well-cooked.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are well-qualified, but some are just there due to reference. Sometimes, they read content from PPT without explaining anything. The course curriculum is not up to the mark; they rely on students for self-completion of the course. Semester exams are hard and unpredictable.
