Gujarat Technical University (GTU) UG Admission 2022

Gujarat Technical University offers under-graduate professional courses through Online mode. The registration link for the same is available at the official website of ACPC. Online registration for the courses generally start in the last week of June spanning over September end. The information booklet is also available at the branches of DENA BANK throughout Gujarat for INR 500.

• GTU University releases the application dates for UG programs considering the result date of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam. The admission is done on the basis of merit list and as per the government circular, colleges cannot take admission through any entrance test for the courses.
• The admission process mentioned here is for various under-graduate courses offered by GTU such as BE, BTech, Bachelors in Pharma, Bachelors in Architecture, Bachelors in Planning, Bachelors in Hotel and Tourism management, etc.
• Admission to the engineering courses are done on the basis of GUJCET/JEE Main, where 60% weightage is given to HSC qualifying examination and 40% to the entrance exam scores.
• For admission into the first year of Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) in Govt., Grant in aid & Self-Financed Institutes in Gujarat State with state quota, Govt. of Gujarat has decided to carry out web-based online admission process for the academic year

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) PG Admission 2022: MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA

For admission in the 1st year of ME/MTech and Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) programme in government, self-financed institutes and Grant-in aid institutes in Gujarat State, on state quota of all institutions and management quota surrendered seats of self-financed institutes, Government of Gujarat has decided to carry out web based online admission process. Eligible candidates shall have to register online for admission.

• Candidate shall have passed BE/BTech or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) at qualifying exam for ME/MTech courses or BPharm with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) at qualifying exam for MPharm courses for seeking admission into post Graduate disciplines and its specialisations
• Candidate should have qualified GATE/GPAT/PGCET

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) Diploma Admission 2022

Admissions to the diploma courses post SSC is conducted by GTU every year post SSC result declaration. The admission process followed by the university is Online and can be carried out through the official GTU website.

Candidate needs to collect the brochure which holds the PIN from the designated branch of DENA BANK available across the state of Gujarat for Rs. 250/- as the required fee. Online Application process usually starts from March every year and the entire admission process is conducted in rounds until the end of September. The admission is purely done on the basis of Merit.

GTU follows multiple application processes for admission of candidates to its under-graduate, post-graduate, research and diploma programmes as follows:

• Admission of students to regular bachelor and master program is done through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and the candidates can log on to the official ACPC website for the detailed application process.
• Admission process for the Diploma is done by "Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC)” and students can log on to the official ACPDC website for more information
• Admission to the PhD and Integrated Courses (MBA & MCA 5 year Integrated) offered by the university is carried out by GTU directly. Candidates seeking admission should log on to the official GTU website and register by submitting the required fee through online payment modes

GTU Reservation Policy 2022

The general reservation policy for the admissions stands as the following:

• Schedule caste: 7%
• Schedule tribe: 15%
• Other backward classes/widows of any caste: 27%
• Economically weaker sections: 10%

GTU Scholarships 2022

• GTU offers scholarships and schemes for the meritorious students as well as for the underpriviledged ones.
• The VIDYALAKSHMI portal provides education loan upto 15 lacs for the needful students
• The MUKHYAMANTRI YUVA SWAVALAMBAN YOJANA provides scholarships to all category students based on their academic performance provided that candidate has secured more than 80 percentile in HSC and with family annual income less than 6 lacs
