The chemistry section in the NEET question paper was conducted in multiple sets this year to prevent malpractices. Though the questions were the same but they were jumbled up from top to bottom in different orders. This year NEET chemistry question paper was tougher compared to last year hence to score good marks in this section was difficult. The official NEET question paper PDF is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official website 2-3 months after the conclusion of the exam.
Commonly asked questions
Although the questions are the same in all Sets of the NEET question paper, the order of the sections and questions vary from set to set. The different order of the sections and questions ensure that there is no malpractice conducted during the exam. Even if some questions are absolutely different in separate Sets or languages, the topics and chapters covered and difficulty level remain similar to ensure normalisation. Hence, it can be said that NTA Sets a common question paper carrying 200 questions, after which the questions are distributed across four Sets and six subsets of the NEET question paper. The subjects, and the questions within the subjects are shuffled for each of the NEET question paper Sets. This allows a parity in terms of topics covered and difficulty level, as well as allows avoidance of malpractice.
NTA releases the NEET question papers online on the official website of NTA after the conclusion of the admission process of the academic year. However, NTA does not release the NEET question papers of all languages and sets. The exam authorities primarily release the English language question papers followed by Hindi. Till 2021, NTA had released NEET question papers in all languages. In 2022, only three sets of the NEET English question paper were released. In the years 2023 and 2024, NTA had released only English and Hindi question papers.
