I'm satisfied because of clinical practice, good placements, and facilities.

Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed in our college placements. The average salary package that was offered to us was 3 LPA. The top companies that came for recruitment in our college placements are Titan Eye Plus, Chashmish Eye Care, and Lenskart. Almost 100% of students get internships, which are divided into 2 parts: optical (in leading optical stores in Ahmedabad) and clinical (in Nagri Hospital). The top roles offered in our course are primary eye care practitioner in hospitals and optical stores, contact lens and squint expert, dispensing frames and glasses according to one's needs, etc.

Infrastructure: We have well-maintained and well-equipped classrooms in our college. Our labs have all the instruments, an auditorium, ground, parking facilities, etc. Nagri hospital, where our clinical internship is done, is an eye hospital that has facilities for all tests and instruments, multiple departments of clinics, operation theatres, and other services are done at low charges.

Faculty: The faculty in our college is helpful & they are all qualified M. Optom/Ph.D/Consultant ophthalmologists. One must prepare for the workforce by studying and interning here. Semester exams are medium to hard. The passing percentage is 35%. One must give written as well as practical exams.

Other: The best thing about this course is that optometrists are the future of the eye care industry. All the other extra-curricular activities are quite slow in college.
