Gujarat University BCom LLB (Hons) Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

No, the Gujrat University does not offer direct admission for many mainstreams programmes. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for each course to get admission. For some courses, such as MBA and PhD, candidates may require to qualify for entrance exams. However, admission to courses such as UG Diploma, BA, BPA, and BDes, is based on the aspirant's marks in the last qualifying examination. Hence, for UG courses in which admission is merit-based, candidates aggregate in Class 12 is considered for selection. Graduation is required for getting admission to PG courses.

Gujarat University accepts entrance exams only for some of the courses. The university considers ranks of the candidates in the entrance exam for seat allotment. Check below the entrance exams accepted by the university:

Gujarat University Cutoff is released for various rounds and categories for admission to BTech/BPharma and PG courses. According to the GUJCET cutoff 2025 for the General category candidates under the Home State quota, M.Tech. in Web Technology had a cutoff of 3101554 in the last round. Yes, Gujarat University campus is safe for girls and boys. The college campus is located in Ahmedabad. It has a good connection with roads and public transports. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to keep a check on students safety. 

Gujarat University provides scholarships to the lower backward class or SC/ ST for better education and financial support. More than 30 scholarship schemes initiated by the Government of Gujarat are covered by Gujarat University. For developing high-quality research Government of Gujarat has initated a scheme called SHODH (scheme of developing high-quality research ) to offer  financial assistance to students doing qualitative research. Under this scheme, more than 1000 full-time research scholars awarded INR 15,000 per month and INR 20,000 contingency expense P.A. in the last five years. 

For improved education and financial support, Gujarat University gives scholarships to SC/ST students and members of the lower socially and economically privileged classes. The university also works to inspire students to work hard and enjoy reading. Gujarat University administers more than 30 of the state of Gujarat's scholarship programmes.
