GMERS Sola - An institution with immense potential for improvement and growth of students itself.

Placements: Placements depend entirely on one's hard work and dedication as it's a field dependent on IT. However, opportunities do open up from time to time for junior residents plus an added advantage of great faculty members who are interested in having students with time and resources to add value to work.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, not bad, sustainable, and should improve over an upcoming period of time. A new super specialty hospital is to be added to the pre-existing hospital soon, with large patient loads, and extensive patient and caseload exposure. Some issues with the hostel overall because of wear and tears but it will improve.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable for research and learning opportunities. Suggestions for students to be active and learn appropriate professional behaviour as medical professionals should be there. Exams are not too difficult but they are essential from time to time to bring notice to students of their preparedness for exams and overall knowledge.

Honest review of a medical college from a medical perspective.

Placements: Our batch is known as the Harper batch. Each batch is known by an author's name. After completing 4.5 years of MBBS, there is a compulsory 1-year internship, after which we have to give the NEET PG exam to get admission into PG courses. Otherwise, we can get government jobs as RMOs at hospitals.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure. All the latest equipment is available here, and classrooms are Smart classrooms. Labs are highly equipped with instruments and trained staff. The canteen is very good, open 18 hours except at night. Various sports options are available like cricket, badminton, kho-kho, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly trained, and they are all doctors. Their teaching quality is very good. They teach and then correlate with clinical scenarios to make us understand. After every year, there is a university exam, which is the final exam that we have to pass. The pass percentage is 50%.

Good faculty and college.

Placements: This is an MBBS college. It is present in Ahmedabad. It provides a stipend during internships of Rs. 20,000. After completion MBBS, you can pursue a post-graduation or junior president in any college. You can become a medical officer in any public health care under the government.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is present in this college. It has an attached hospital. There are high-quality classrooms. The hostel is near to college and has CCTV surveillance on every floor. A sports ground is present in college for cricket, football, basketball, etc. There is a badminton court. The mess gives the best quality food.

Faculty: There are good faculty members. They support you every moment. They are qualified in their subjects. The course is for 4.5 years. 1 year is for internships. Internal exams are held by the college and yearly university exams occur. The passing criteria in this course is 50% for each subject both theory and practical. This college is under Gujarat University.

Other: College fests occur every year. Sports week also occurs. Medical conferences are held by students and faculty.

I recommend this college as it is one of the best medical institutions in India.

Placements: Only 2% of the students were placed in the program, and the amount required to join this course varies according to your marks. Since I am studying MBBS, there are no recruiting companies involved. After completing my studies here, I plan to move to the UK for further education.

Infrastructure: The facilities here are so good that we have Wi-Fi in every classroom, high-quality equipment, and the canteen provides good food. The teachers are good and friendly, and we have designated days for sports and extracurricular activities, as well as gym facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are so friendly, and we can ask for any help and they are 100% ready to do anything to help us. Exams are high level from the start so during, but last exams it will not be that hard as we are practicing hard, from that start. The pass percentage is 99.9%.

Other: They provide a hostel and it is within the campus, and also the hostel has classes.

Placements: The top role offered is Medical Officer Class-2 in the Government of India. 100% of students from our college get internships. Almost 95% of students from our college get placements. The highest placement is 11 LPA, the average is 7.2 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The library is world-class, with a reading room that has facilities for more than 500 students at a time. The library has over 10,000 books and subscriptions. The labs are well-equipped to meet current educational needs. The biochemistry, pathology, and microbiology labs are the best in the state.

B.J.M.C. from the heart of the student.

Placements: Total seats of B.J.M.C. are 250. Here, there is no private hospital placement, but instead, it provides students with 1 year of rural bond duty in which we get posted in rural areas of Gujarat. Before rural service, there is also 1 year of compulsory rotating internship in the civil hospital Ahmedabad itself. Stipend for the internship is around 18,000 per month, and rural service duty is around 75,000 per month.

Infrastructure: It has got a good library with a very big reading room for students to sit and study, which is open 24 hrs. Good hostel facilities along with home-like food in mess at very affordable rates. It has also got a badminton court, cricket ground, and table tennis.

Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified with master's degrees. Good information of the curriculum with exams taken regularly. The exams are of moderate level as it is the top-most college of Gujarat. Passing percentage is 50 percent for every MBBS college.

Other: The best thing about MBBS is you get the power to understand the working of the great creation that is the human body. The infrastructure could be better as it is a 150-year-old college. BjBeats is the annual fest of the college, which is very famous and includes concerts, sports, and days celebration every year.

Placements: B.J. Medical College students were getting multiple placement opportunities. Around 80% of the students get placed in our college. The average package offered at this medical college is between 9 and 12 LPA. Most of the students get placements in the college-owned hospital.

Infrastructure: This college had good infrastructure available for our course. College hostels are safe for girls and boys. Labs are available, and hospital equipment is fully filled in the hospital. The campus of the college was quite big. There was ample parking space for the students.

Faculty: The faculty of B.J. Medical College was highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers in our college were highly experienced in the field of teaching. Campus is small but crowd is great.

Placements: Each batch consists of 200 students who get admitted after clearing NEET-UG. Many students from our college give exams like USMLE and PLAB apart from NEET PG. In university exams ( Gujarat University ), GMERS Solar perform better compared to other GMERS.

Infrastructure: The college and hostels are currently being renovated. The walls have been painted and the washrooms are being replaced. The lecture halls are decent and the corridors are cleaned everyday but washrooms need work. We have museums, dissection halls, labs auditoriums, etc., necessary for MBBS course. We even have a connection bridge that connect the college to hospital. There is a dedicated floor for library and 3 reading rooms where students study. There is boys and girls hostel, each of 10 floors. Each floor had a common room where you can study or do anything recreational. There are 2 elevator which sometimes stop working but they are quickly repaired. The rooms are good and have no balcony. There are 3 canteens in total in the campus, one college canteen and two hospital canteens plus a juice shop. We have regular mess (except sunday evening) in boys and girls hostels. The canteen and mess are vegetarian. The mess serves better hygienic food. The prices are affordable. The campus is small. The campus has a football field where cricket and volleyball is played. Badminton and basketball court is also available. Students get priority and free treatment in hospital. There are two pharmacies. There is good amount of parking space. The roads have reflects and the buildings are well marked. Things that our college lacks is no Wi-Fi. There is no bank, stationary, or printout facilities in the campus. However, these are available very near the college campus.

Faculty: The faculty is well qualified and knowledgeable. The professors are great. All are approachable and readily clear doubts. Our professors are well known for this. They guide well in terms of university exams, entrance exams to research papers. Teaching quality is good but it can always be better. The college exams of our college are moderate to hard in difficult. And the pass percentage is 25%. But in the main university exams the pass percentage is 98- 100 %. Most of us fails in college exams and that's how it pushes us to study harder. And this is how its been going for ages at our college.
