No, the Gujrat University does not offer direct admission for many mainstreams programmes. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for each course to get admission. For some courses, such as MBA and PhD, candidates may require to qualify for entrance exams. However, admission to courses such as UG Diploma, BA, BPA, and BDes, is based on the aspirant's marks in the last qualifying examination. Gujarat University admission to LLM course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, aandidates need to pass qualifying exam at the first attempt with at least 50% aggregate in the final year examination or exam of last two semesters of the degree of Bachelor of Law (Three years’ or Five Years Integrated LLB Programme) of Gujarat University or other Universities recognised and approved by the UGC to apply for LLM.
