Candidates seeking admission at Gujarat University should apply through common admission portal of GCAS (Gujarat Common Admission Services). First, visit GCAS Student portal and register by entering personal and academic details. Login through registered credentials and fill application after creating a profile. Upload required documents and pay application fee.

Students are selected as per Merit list released.

Students should the official website of Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) to check all admission related updates. As of now, Gujarat University UG admission 4^th merit list 2026 were already released in June 2026. PG merit list were already released in July 2026.

According to NIRF Ranking 2025, Gujarat University ranks 74 under University category and 25 under State Public University category. Compared with 2024 rankings, rankings have improved.

Hostel allotments are made available for students of PG, PhD and KS School of Business Management. The hostel seats are given purely basis merit. The Boys hostel has capacity of 550 students across 6 blocks. The room type are in single and double-sharing occupancy. The Girls hostel has capacity of 196 students across 2 blocks. The hostel fee range from INR 26,000 to 40,000 per year or semester, depending upon the room type selected.

Gujarat University has library and digital resources with collection of more than 3 Lacs books. A sports complex with 400 meter athletic track, basketball court, cricket ground, hockey ground, tennis court, volleyball court and Kabaddi grounds are there at the campus.

University of Gujarat has a gymnasium and an on-campus health centre. Dining and canteen are provided within the campus. General facilities include all-round Wi-Fi connectivity, security with CCTV survcellance, an auditorium and a 250 seater amphitheater.

According to Gujarat University overall NIRF report 2026, median package received by PG 2-year students in 2025 was INR 6.5 LPA.

Yes, Hostel facilities are offered by the Gujarat University. The Gujarat University provides separate hostel accommodation for boys & girls. There are a total of 6 blocks for boys and 2 blocks for girls namely A and B. The hostel rooms are available with single and double occupancy, with basic amenities such as a table, chair, cupboard, and bed for each student. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The total capacity of the boys' hostel is 550 students across the 6 blocks, while the girls' hostel accommodates 196 students. The hostel rooms have a 24/7 power supply, and each hostel block features a water cooler and a water purifier.

Gujarat University has an Anti-Ragging Cell. Hence, the freshers will never meet with this problem while studying in this college. The college premises has strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

Gujarat University has a big campus of 270 acres. The university offers facilities like an amphitheater, health center, NRS Lab, student exhibition hall/ ground, auditorium, hostels, computing facilities, etc. Besides all basic facilities, Gujarat University infrastructure features the Park for Industrial Extension and Research (PIER), also known as the Research Park, designed to enhance academic and industrial research. Gujarat University cutoff 2026 has not been released yet & will be updated once out. In 2025,  NEET  Round 1 Closing Rank (General-All India) for MBBS was 889. NEET SS Round 1 Closing Rank (General-All India) in 2025 ranged from 48 - 101. MCh in Gynaecological Oncology became the most competetive course for admissions with the lowest cutoff rank of 48. The least competetive course was MCh in Surgical Oncology with cutoff rank of 101.
