Review of GGU - Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: About 60-70% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 2.5-4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting company visit our campus is Ultratech. Top roles, like sales and marketing executives, are offered to the students. Almost 95% of students got an internship in companies like SECL, Railway, Tata Motors and in banking sectors, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility with good speed for students. Wi-Fi facility supports the students in their education purpose. Labs and equipment facility is strong as compared to other colleges. Classrooms are well furnished, properly ventilated and hygienic. Latest books were arranged in our library. Food served in the mess and canteen is average. Medical facilities were not goood. Sports and games facilities available in our college fulfilled all the students' demand.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are supportive. They are highly qualified. They teach us and make students ready for industry purpose. They provide practical knowledge for the students. The course curriculum was about 50-60% relevant as per industry. They make students ready as per the industry demand.
Other: I have chosen this course because of industry demand and professionalism is the main thing in our course. The infrastructure and facilities should be improved in the near future. Events and fests are organised by the college. The campus crowd is fabulous. The campus surroundings are also good. Scholarships are available for the students. Extracurricular activities are conducted at our university.

Unsatisfied with the infrastructure, average placements.
Placements: Around 10% of the total students were placed during the previous session. The highest package being 4.5 Lacs pa. Companies like icici bank, ultra tech cement are the major recruiting companies. Students are required to do the internship for a period of 45 days for which students will have to approach companies on their own, no companies offer internship to the students otherwise.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, library, computer labs are available. College canteen serves good quality food, hostel and mess facilities are also available. Sports activities are also held both at the department level as well as at the University level. In-campus hospital is available for medical emergencies.
Faculty: Some teachers do have the knowledge and skills. The course curriculum is completely theoretical, practical exposure is minimal. Students will have to put extra efforts to learn the skills that are required by the industry today, relying on the college completely will not make the students industry ready.

    Satisfied from my course.
Placements: 1. About 1 to 2 percent students are placed in our course till now 2. The highest and the lowest salary offered was about 6L and 3L respectively 3. Top company was ultratech 4. The top role offered was of senior manager. 5. The highest package was of 6L and the lowest was of 2L 6. Almost all the students have done internship due to our minor project.
Infrastructure: 1. We have very bad infrastructure facilities in our department. We have a very old building which creates problem during rainy seasons. Apart from this, we have library and Wi-Fi facility but I am not satisfied. 2. Hostel is good and the quality of food is also good. University canteen is very good. We have a separate hospital in our university with full facilities. Sports and games are organised by the physical education department.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful but they don't teach that well. Minimum qualification for teachers is a Masters degree and NET qualified. So all teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but the teaching is not good. 2. Course curriculum is good but it could improve by adding the industrial linkage in it which lacks in the present day.
Other: 1. I chose it because of family pressure. Best thing in the college is surrounding area which is very clean and full of greenery. 2. Industrial linkage is major improvement needed in my course 3. There are many events organised by different departments in which students from the other departments also participates. Campus surrounding is very good. There is a lot of campus crowd in our university. For extracurricular activities, we have different drama, magazine, band, dance, etc. Groups in our university.

    Very much need for improvement.
Placements: 1. Till now only 5 to 6 people are placed from our batch. 2. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 45,000 and the lowest salary offer was of Rs. 25,000. 3. Till now only 1 company came for the campus recruitment and that was Cashpor. 4. The role offered in the recruitment was senior managers of different salary grades. 5. The highest package was around 5.5 L and the lowest package was around 3L. 6. For internship purpose, we submit the minor project based on the topic selected by us. So everyone got the chance to do the internship in the companies based on their specialisation.
Infrastructure: 1. Infrastructure available in our department is not so good as compared to any other professional college. Though we have the facility of Wi-Fi, departmental library, computer lab, conference hall, etc. But they are not up to date according to the need of the day. We also have a central library which is open for every department of the university which is quite a good one. Our Classrooms have the smartboard but the overall infrastructure is not so good. 2. Hostel facility is satisfactory. The quality of food offered in hostels has improved. The food available in the canteen is quite hygienic and tasty. For the medical facility, we have the hospital and ambulance facility. We have one MD in the hospital who is available in the college hours. We also have the pharmacy which gives the suggested medicines free of cost. For the sports and games, we have a different physical education department which organizes sports activities for all the departments of the university. Apart from this, our department has the team of YMC in which we have 6 houses having the members from seniors and juniors batch. Each house competes with each other based on different activities organised by the officeholders and house captains.
Faculty: 1. Some teachers are good but the others are not even satisfactory. They have the knowledge but fails to deliver it. Teachers are helpful and cooperative though. Teaching quality is not satisfactory. 2. Course curriculum is not so good. It is not as per the need of the industry and the present dynamic environment. We are lagging behind in many ways and one of that is the teaching and course structure.
Other: 1. I chose this course because it is the professional course. The best thing about the course was it focuses on extracurricular activities as well. 2. There are many things which should improve which particularly includes teaching facility, infrastructure, industry linkage, placements, etc. 3. For this we have YMC which looks after the extracurricular activities. There are many activities organised in it. We have the annual function which is organised at the end of each session to give awards to the winners and participants of the YMC. There is a lot of campus crowd though we don't have much of it in our department. We have good and ambient surroundings. There are a lot of trees in the campus as well as in our department. We have the scholarship facility for the Sc, St and OBC which is looked upon by the separate sc/st cell in the administrative block. Apart from this scholarship is given on different basis like the only girl child, topper, excelled in sports or cultural activities, etc. Department wise.

    Dissatisfied from the placement.
Placements: Only 2 students were placed in a good company. Placement opportunities are not available. The average package offered is 1.5 Lacs to 2.5 Lacs only. Internship is compulsory for all during the 3rd and 4th sem. But the placement opportunities is very poor and no one is taking care of it.
Infrastructure: Very poor infrastructure facility. Leakages in the classroom, improper bench and desks, shortage of classrooms and projectors. No maintainance of classrooms. Many of the books are not available in library. Very less variety of food is available in canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but they did not take the classes properly. Course curriculum is old one. It should be improved so that it will help the students. This course curriculum did not make the students industry ready as it is totally based on theory.
Other: Because of my own interest in this field I opted for this course. Firstly the in infrastructure facility and the teaching methodology should be improved. And also the placement opportunities.

The college provides great learning things. I am satisfied with faculty but need more placements.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our university got placed. The highest salary package of 5.6 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.4 LPA were offered in our college. Airtel, HDFC and ICICI Bank were the top recruiters of our college. TSM and B.A relationship manager were the top roles offered in our course. Almost 90% of the students got internships in different companies like HDFC Bank, Airtel, Hindalco, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities, including Wi-Fi, labs and NSO are available. The food available in the canteen is good, hygienic and healthy. The university has a medical emergency ward, which takes proper care and treatment of students. Library facility is also great. The campus is safe and secure.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and they use great teaching techniques and provides various examples. They have lots of experience. The course curriculum is relevant as it provides good exposure to all the students in terms of learning, getting good jobs and serving in the society.
Other: Being an MBA student, I want to enhance my overall growth. We learn lots of things in our course, which help us to perform better in life. I wish that the college should provide good job opportunities in our course. The university campus comprises of lots of courses and conducts lots of activities and fest, and the campus crowd includes students from all over India. Most of the students from different states study here in different courses.
