GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the courses is based on candidates performance in the Hence, the university does not offer direct admission. The total number of BSc seats at GNDU are 14,100. This number also includes the BSc seats available at the colleges affiliated with GNDU. At the Guru Nanak Dev University campus, the total student intake for BSc is of 935 students. These seats are further divided among the various BSc specialisations provided at the university. The aforementioned number of seats is taken from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

Yes, for some course, GNDU takes admission without entrance exam. The admission to those courses is allotted based on the merit secured in the qualifying exam.
