No placement, affordable.

Placements: No placement is provided by the college. 30% of students get jobs by themselves. There are no big companies. No internship is provided by the college. This college is not for placement. It is only for getting a degree. In Science, we only get knowledge of Science theoretically.

Good learning experience at GNDU with a supportive faculty.

Placements: Placements for the BCA course are okay and mostly depend on how much effort a student puts in. Around 40-50% of students get placed, and many find jobs on their own. The average salary is around 2-3 LPA. Internships are also available in small IT companies, and common roles are IT support, junior developer, and customer support.

I think this college can be improved with some changes.

Placements: I guess about 50% of students get placements around 1 LPA. I don’t know much about the exact figures. Around 60% of students get internships.

Review of Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar, GNDU,

Placements: The placement cell was a huge add-on to my career path. They instantly initiated the process of the placement and related stuff when I entered my 2nd last semester of the curriculum. They provided us companies for internships and full-time placements and introduced us to companies that are dream companies for many. Many companies come on campus, including local companies of the state, Byjus, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Datalog, etc. The company with the highest package offers 14 Lacs. If you sit in plac...

They conduct less interactive classes, which are so boring.

Placements: RSM India, BDO India, S. R. Batlibboi College, and Grant Thornton Bharat LLP are a few of the auditing companies that have shown their interest in hiring a large number of candidates from our department. We only depend on the placement cell for internship offers in the nearby companies. Professional and skilled courses are also arranged for us to train us with proper skills.
