    D.A.V. College Jalandhar detailed review.
Placements: Very good placements in our college in BAJMC course and other courses. The highest packages are from 1.0 LPA to 6 LPA. Top companies visit our college for student placements like Tata, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. 80% of students get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Very good and clean studio and computer labs are available in the college. College hostel is also so good and clean. Mess food is also fully hygienic. Wi-Fi facility is also available in our college. Library is also so good and clean. Canteen is also so clean.
Faculty: Teachers are so good and helpful to students. The teaching quality is also so good. Our course curriculum is also so good and makes our students ready for the industry. College exams are also easy, average students can pass easily. Passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose BAJM course because I have an interest in mass communication and journalism line. My main aim is to go into the printing line. College events are also so good and enjoyable.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to no activities and poor infrastructure.
Placements: This college has many good courses but for journalism, this college doesn't provide you that much exposure and practical knowledge. Some companies come for placements but mostly, they look for IT students. So it all depends upon your personal ability to get placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are not in good condition. The mess food is the worst and also the mess staff is rude. There is only one fan provided in the hostel room and two students share one room. Rooms do not have an aesthetic look and there is no ground for students to enjoy.
Faculty: The staff members are not well experienced and thus it impacts your exams. Half of the staff members are inexperienced and biased. Only students who have some personal skills or connections can grow. If you are from a background that knows nothing also have to survive.

Excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong placements opportunities.
Placements: Our batch (2024-2028) comprises 40 students pursuing a B.A in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on news reporting and editing. We achieved a 50% placement rate, secured internships at top firms and actively participated in research, hackathons, and innovation projects.
Infrastructure: Our course boasts average classrooms, advanced labs, and high-speed internet that foster innovation and practical learning. Library is rich in resources and hostels provide well-furnished rooms, 24/7 security, and recreational space that ensure a comfortable stay.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable, blending theory with practical insights. Corse curriculum is industry-oriented, focusing on core concepts, emerging technologies, and hands-on projects. Exams are well-structured, emphasising critical thinking and application.

Best college to make best friends and learn several things.
Placements: Placements were really good for my batchmates as well as for my seniors. They got good jobs in various media organisations, and they also provided with a good salary as well as incentives as the students of mass comm are highly in demand till now. The last salary packages were not so good but sufficient for the freshers. Top roles offered to RHE students were like public relation officer, reporter, anchor, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and new buildings and departments are going to be set up in college. The best part is an auditorium, where we celebrate all the festivals and occasions. Wi-Fi facility is there but not provided to all the students. Hostel facility offered to girls and boys as well in separate buildings.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified as well as knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great as they used teaching methods like pdfs, ppts, seminars, and presentations. The student to faculty ratio is around 80:1. We visited some departments to get industry exposure, and all the experience was good.
Other: There are several curricular activities for students, and the campus crowd is excellent and fabulous.

A great place to study and achieve skills for society.
Placements: There are numerous placements in many multinational companies, and around 40%-35% of students are really happy with this strength. Some are managers, some are employees, but many have opened their businesses. That's a great thing that entrepreneurs are coming out of college.
Infrastructure: Old look but great, with a lot of classrooms. There is Wi-Fi all over campus and separate hostels for boys and girls. There's a library too with two floors and a plethora of books that are issued on a card basis. The campus is divided into four parts across a road.
Faculty: The staff is quite helpful but as strict as needed in exams. Although teaching helps many students, mid-term exams in every semester are a way to prepare for the upcoming final term exams by GNDU board. If anyone skips or fails, it is fine.
Other: There are a few fests on campus due to shortage of space, but a lot of events take place regularly. There are also NCC and NSS camps inside as well as outside the campus. It's a big thing of enjoyment and learning for students.
