Surrender Before Joining Class: If a candidate surrenders their seat after receiving an admission slip but does not join the program, the deposited tuition fee, funds, examination fee, miscellaneous fee, and amenities fee are refunded after deducting University processing charges.
Surrender After Joining Class: If a candidate joins the class (even for a single day) and surrenders the seat in writing, the refund is processed after deducting tuition fee, funds, miscellaneous fee, and amenities fee for 3 months. The examination fee is refunded in full.
Abeyance of Course: If the University cancels or keeps a course in abeyance due to low enrollment or administrative reasons, the full fee is refunded to the candidate.

2. Shifting Between Courses / Departments

Fee Adjustment: If a candidate shifts from one course or department to another within the University Campus or Regional Campuses before the completion of the admission process, the deposited fee and funds are adjusted.
Shifting Fee: A fee of INR 5,000 is charged for each shifting request.
Deadline: Course shifting is not permitted after the formal admission process is over.

3. Refund of Security Deposit & Prior Semester Fees

Security Refund: Security deposits are refunded upon submission of a formal application along with a No Dues Certificate from the concerned department.
Pre-Deposited Fees on Failure: If a student deposits fees for the next semester/year prior to the declaration of lower examination results and subsequently fails the lower examination, the deposited fee/funds are refundable or adjusted.

4. Examination & Special Case Fee Refunds

Private Candidates: 75% of registration and admission fees are refunded if a candidate is declared ineligible after document scrutiny (not applicable for fake document submissions).
Re-evaluation Pass: If a student applies for a compartment/re-appear exam and their re-evaluation result passes them before the exam takes place, 75% of the exam fee is refunded.
Ineligible / Deceased / Exigency Candidates: Full examination fees are refunded to legal heirs if a student dies before or during exams, or to defense personnel unable to sit for exams due to military duties.

Dissatisfied because of the untidiness of the campus and the lack of facilities like a canteen.

Placements: Well, I'm currently in the first year of my MBA integrated 5-year plan, and I saw someone got an 8 LPA job at Crescendo company, and even reliance company's internships were given to someone after completing this course decent number of internships were given.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel in my college, but labs, classrooms, and a library are well maintained. A clean environment, a canteen is not available at this college, giving it a demerit, and sports activities are highly limited, not even a sports day has been held.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, qualified Ph.D. holders, and very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is great! The course is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready as well. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with mid-term exams and finals.

Other: I chose this course because it offered BBA+MBA under a 5-year duration, and it was better than just doing BBA. The large syllabus and teachers not covering it correctly need to be fixed. Events are very few, next to nothing.

Placements are low for ECE, mechanical, and civil. Only CSE has good opportunities.

Placements: Overall, the number of students placed in 2026 in B.Tech ECE is only 10. Whereas the total number of students on the Amritsar campus, Gurdaspur campus, and Jalandhar campus is 600, but only 10 students got placed. Among these 10 students, most are girls, and a few are boys. Overall placement is good for only computer science students.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not good, and the electronics department is very far outside the university campus. Students face many issues because the hostel is not near the electronic building, and the university bus service is very bad. Even though the building is on the university campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide for your career, and teach very well. The first semester is easy, but when you go to your 2nd year, you start your core-related subjects, and these subjects are tough, especially for electronic, mechanical, and civil students.

Review of Guru Nanak Dev University.

Placements: Not placed on course but through the education got into an administrative post, which is actually quite a good number. We have a mandatory internship thing in like just 2 years. This is given by the department, but you do have a choice too. Overall, it's mid honestly.

Infrastructure: Okay, so the infrastructure is good but can be maintained better. The library is amazing, as is the overall building and the aesthetics of the university. If taken care of a lot more, it'll be way better. The food at the mess is okay, but they do have a lot of canteens, so that makes up for it, I guess. Medical facilities are all free and helpful, so that's cool. The grounds, obviously, GNDU has a lot of grounds and courts.

Faculty: I don't know about other departments, but in my department, the majority of the teachers are actually quite intelligent and helpful too. If you are someone good in academics, their experience will be quite good. The exam difficulty is subjective, though it depends on you, the semester, and your specialization as well!

Other: Now, campus life is also subjective. If you are talented and open, there are a lot of things all year around. We've got platforms for inter and intra-university competition, then nationals and youth as well! The crowd, though, depends on the people you surround yourself with.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure, teaching, and facilities.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. I don't want to get a placement from my college. Students do not get any job opportunities on my college campus. No such good companies visit the college for placements. They only offer jobs related to the sales and marketing of a SIM card.

Infrastructure: There are no sports, games, or medical facilities. We have good infrastructure in our college. There is no good facility for drinking water in the college. There are no good computer labs for students, and all computers are in use. There are many books that I cannot issue from my college library. The librarian is not present in the library often.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but not all. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult.

Other: I want to change my college infrastructure and staff members.

Satisfied so far with the syllabus and course.

Placements: 10 percent of students got placed from our course and they got good packages others moved for higher studies. Companies like Nestlé visit our university for interviews. We can do an internship in any company on our own. You can go for Research and development, food officer, inspector, etc.

Infrastructure: You can access free Wi-Fi anywhere in the university. Well-lit classrooms and labs. There is a large library and some departments have their own libraries too. We have 8 hostels in total including boys and girls. Food in all the messes is very good. We have a health centre in the university where there are no facilities for check-ups and medicine. Separate grounds and courts for every game.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant to industries. It gives full exposure to the industry level of work. If you study well exams are not that tough if not then of course they are going to be tough.

Other: As M.Sc. Food technology is not offered by many universities and colleges in Punjab. There are very few. As Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, is NAAC grade A+ I chose this university.
