It is the best college in my state.
Placements: This college gives us placement in various sectors. The highest package offered in my course is 30 LPA, and the minimum package is 20 LPA. Many students who have passed from this college got placements in M.Sc. company and Anglo Eastern, like many other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is excellent. The college provides us Wi-Fi facility, smart classes, library, and also labs for experiential purposes. The quality of my college food is good. Talking about the mess and canteen, they provide us healthy items. Also, this college provides us sports and games facilities.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very educated. They can help us in every sector like study, sports, and other different fields where students want to make their career. They give motivation and direction on how the student has to approach their goal. House tests are conducted in mid-year.

It is the best college that I have found in Dharamshala.
Placements: 80% of students will get their placements after this course. It is a government-based college, so girls' fee is 50% off and boys pay the full fee, which is worth Rs. 15,000. The final examination fee is separate. Engineer-based companies, etc., visit the college to hire students. 80% of students will get placements in non Indian companies. Roles offered in B.Sc. are teaching line, NDA, engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, learning, playgrounds, etc., are available. Classrooms and washrooms are neat and clean. The library is also very good and nice. I did not experience hostel facilities. My friend who stays in the hostel gave five-star ratings to all hostel facilities, like rooms are very clean and the food is healthy. The college canteen provides us with hygienic food. Medical facilities are available in our college. In emergency cases, processors help us to get rid of them. Sports and games activities are held in our college monthly.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They all are PhD holders. Their way of teaching is also impressive. I love their way of teaching. The course curriculum is good. After this course, we get many offers from industries and companies. Semester exams are neither very easy nor very difficult, but average, so that students who have studied can pass easily.
Other: I chose this course because my dream is to become a professor. The best thing about our course is that by doing this course, we can't leave studying and we will be happy. The improvement should be taken regarding the practical examinations because if we pass in theory and fail in practicals, then we are considered to have failed, and our theory and practical exams will both be taken again.

Good placement and it is a nice college.
Placements: College was very good. Many students got placement before graduation. Top 50 companies came here to interview students, and most students were selected. The highest package I have heard in my college was 50 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was best. The college building was very big. There were many rooms. Every room had fans, not only fans, some rooms had AC also. I think its best. The infrastructure was best designed I have ever seen college campus. Building was nice so infrastructure was good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers was the best. In VGC, there was no semester system for B.Sc. There was a yearly system so be prepared because it was more tough. I recommend studying from the beginning so that's it.

Q: When will the HPU MAT registration begin?

HPU Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) 2026 registrations will commence in second week of April 2026. Candidates interested in admission to MBA programme of Himachal Pradesh University must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The HPU MAT application form can be filled in online mode only. HPU will commence the HPU MAT 2026 registrations soon after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the HPU MAT 2026 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the HPU MAT application fee of INR 1000. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

The college is budget-friendly and has a good structure.
Placements: There are approximately 120 students in my course. I don't know how many students get internships, but I think maximum students are now well settled. I can tell you that the college is very good for internships, and the teachers are very friendly and also suggest us many jobs for our future
Infrastructure: The college is awesome. Wi-Fi is available in the BCA block, and I think the library is outstanding. The canteen is also good and awesome. All students have their lunch at the canteen. The library has fans, one AC, and it is the best library in our town, and there are approximately 2000+ books available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. The teachers are qualified to teach us. They are very friendly and instantly available. They teach us properly, and sometimes they also give us life lessons. I think the teachers are the best, and they also take our extra classes for revision during exams.

It is a good college if students want to pursue the BSc course.
Placements: There are no internships, and I don't know if any company has given any placements for the B.Sc courses. It is a common city college affiliated with Sardar Patel University. If students just want a degree and knowledge, then they can take admission in this college.
Infrastructure: The room has a mountain view, and the room has proper ventilation with fans for cooling. Desks are not good, but some are broken. Although the feel of classes is very good. I recommend all student to join this college if they want to succeed without ruining their college life.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Teachers are understanding and very helpful. They are friendly and their behaviour towards students is good. Non-teaching staff members are awesome. I like teachers, as they are well-qualified in their subjects.
Other: The college organises various types of fests and sports competitions. The college lies in the middle of the city. The campus is good-looking, and the view is awesome from the campus as the college lies between mountains. It also conducts extracurricular activities.

I suggest students join the university as they can enjoy their university life.
Placements: This college offers very decent placements. The placement percentage is different for different courses. Courses like computer are good for placements. Other courses are not much explored from the placement point of view. Overall, it is a good place to study.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Classes are well-maintained and well-decorated. It provides hostel facilities for girls only. There is a free Wi-Fi facility in the library. There are different labs for different courses that provide a vast knowledge of the subject.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Professors are very professional and have deep knowledge about the subject. We can check our performance in every month's exams, which are mid-term examinations, and they give us a clear image of our knowledge and further exam preparation.
Other: Overall, it's a well-renowned college of Himachal Pradesh. I chose it because it's a state university college. It provides much exposure to students and gives a chance to enhance some extra skills if we have any.

I am satisfied due to the good faculty, infrastructure, and academic support.
Placements: From our college, the recently passed out batch got 70% placements. 8 of them got a job as CHOs in Himachal Pradesh. 6 of them work at AIIMS. Moreover, many have been placed as teachers in various institutes around the country. Many of them have opted for M.Sc. in various disciplines in nursing as well. The academic achievements of this college are humongous.
Infrastructure: Labs are properly maintained, and a badminton court is present. The mess food is very nutritious and tasty. Moreover, they have AC in the rooms. The classrooms are well maintained, and a multi-specialty ayurvedic hospital is also attached. The students have a beautiful ground to roam around on.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and guide us thoroughly. The syllabus is completed nicely, and the academic studies are fulfilled nicely. We are also sent to various hospitals for our clinical postings, such as IVY Hoshiarpur, Una Government Hospital, Haroli Government Hospital, and other nearby private hospitals as well.
Other: There are many seminars, moot courts, and other gatherings that are held in the college. The freshers and the farewells are amazing. A yearly Bhandara is also celebrated.

It's the best college that I have seen.
Placements: Many students 60%-70% got placed in companies including BASE and hydropower companies like JP Group. The remaining 30%-40% got government jobs because students prepared for competitive exams and overall development. The highest salary is around 2.5 lakhs per month and the lowest is around Rs. 25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are JP Group, BASE Electronics, and Suzlon Energy. Top roles offered are lab assistant, supervisor, and engineering assistant.
Infrastructure: Hostels are quite good although I was not in hostel sometimes I used to visit there with my friends who stay there. They are facilitated with good infrastructure and Wi-Fi connection of around 10-15 Mbps. Library is open from around 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, food provided is quite good and canteen is superb and pockets friendly for students.
Faculty: All teachers are of Ph.D. level in their fields and most of teachers are from NIT or some well-renounced colleges and universities. Course we study here are for overall development with all skills required to acquire a job. Semester exams are almost good as teachers make them quiet for students so they go through the study material thoroughly. Pass percentage is around 50%-60%.
Other: The course I chose makes one's mind grasp everything from any field. The case we study is about renewable sources of energy, traditional safety, and the maths of competitive level. Overall, everything is good and we ensure that we get a brief knowledge on everything. There is nothing much to improve, but to add subjects like spiritual knowledge. College organizes many fests, like the Dharamshala Carnival. The campus surroundings are superb. It's an education hub of Himachal Pradesh. Scholarships are quite good, although I didn’t get one. Some of my friends have, like they received Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 quarterly.
