I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) applications are currently open. As per the unofficial sources, the university releases the application form by May. Aspirants can apply online on the university website for admission. Candidates must ensure they fulfil the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection of the form. 

IKGPTU, earlier known as Punjab Technical University was established under Act of the State Legislature in 1997. The university affiliates 120+ AICTE and 65 UGC-approved colleges. The university offers 25+ courses at its main campus. Candidates can go for the university as it offers a wide range of courses and practical knowledge to the students. It uses new techniques and methods to teach students in modern and innovative ways. It also has received a mandate to start Centres of Excellence to help students to grow in research, development and their training.

The BPharm total tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It is inclusive of fees at the affiliated colleges as well. Moreover, the given fee has been calculated as per the data available from unofficial sources and thus can vary. PTU releases the fee structure for the respective admission years on its official website. The total course fee is higher as that will include exam fees, university funds, security deposit, and other fee elements as well.

PTU will release the provisional and final merit lists on its official website.PTU Jalandhar got 104th position in NIRF Engineering Ranking 2020 whereas it was ranked 120 in the NIRF Ranking 2021 in the engineering category. The varsity campus is spread over an area of 5 Lacs square feet. PTU Jalandhar has 121 AICTE and 65 UGC approved colleges affiliated to it.
