PTU Kapurthala BPharm Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility & Selection Criteria, Placements

Candidates are required to submit important documents at the time of admission/form filling. These documents are required for verification purposes. The documents required at the time of PTU course admissions are:

1. Class 10 and 12 marksheet
2. Bachelor’s degree (for PG courses)
3. School leaving certificate/ transfer certificate/migration certificate
4. Two-colored photographs
5. Domicile/ Birth certificate
6. Caste validity certificate/ ‘H’ Proforma, etc.

The BPharm total tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It is inclusive of fees at the affiliated colleges as well. Moreover, the given fee has been calculated as per the data available from unofficial sources and thus can vary. PTU releases the fee structure for the respective admission years on its official website. The total course fee is higher as that will include exam fees, university funds, security deposit, and other fee elements as well. 

Candidates who have passed class 12 from a recognised board can apply for the BPharm regular course. For the BPharm Lateral course, applicants shall have a three-year Diploma in pharmacy from a recognised university or state board of technical education. Students who meet the eligibility requirements can submit their applications online. Admission to the courses is merit-based. Thus, candidates' scores in the last qualifying examination are taken into consideration.

Yes, a B.Pharma course is offered at I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. IKGPTU or PTU offers a four-year BPharma course in full-time mode. Many of the PTU-affiliated colleges also offer B.Pharma. The eligibility for the course is 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks. The admission process is based on merit and availability of seats.

IKGPTU accepts admissions to programmes in either a direct way or through counseling. Students who are interested in pursuing any programme at the university must have to apply beforehand. Students can apply through the official website of the university and complete the application by paying the application fees, i.e. non-refundable. IK Gujral University follows a fee refund policy in case of cancellation of admission. In case a student withdraws his/ her seat before the start of the course, his/ her total fee is
refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 only.

In case a student surrenders his/ her seat after the beginning of the course and before /on last date of admission to that course, he/she get fee with proportionate deduction of
total monthly fee (full fee including development and other charges) and proportionate total hostel rent (all charges).

In case a student withdraws his /her seat after the last date of admission to that course, he /she does not get any refund.
