B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2025
2.2
2Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
It has a big campus but an average faculty. No placements in Agriculture, and limited student life.
Placements: For B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at IES University, there are no direct placements from this department. Most placements happen for engineering and management students, where companies visit the campus. In Agriculture, students usually prepare for government exams like ICAR or banking jobs, or go for higher studies. Some students also look for private sector jobs on their own in agri-based companies. Internships are very limited and mostly arranged by students themselves through personal contacts. If students choose this course, they should not depend on campus placements but focus on their own career options after graduation.
Infrastructure: I am studying B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture at IES University, Bhopal. The infrastructure for our course is decent. Classrooms are spacious with projectors, and the seating is comfortable enough. The library is big with a fair collection of books and journals, though agriculture-specific material could be improved. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, but sometimes, the speed is slow. Labs and experiential farms are provided for agriculture students, which help in practical learning. However, the frequency of hands-on sessions could be more regular.
Faculty: The course curriculum looks fine on paper, covering crop science, soil, and other agriculture subjects, but in reality, the practical exposure is very limited. Labs are there, but the use of the equipment is not frequent. Field visits are less than expected. The course does not really make us industry-ready, and it is more about theory than real-life application. If we are serious about agriculture careers, we will have to prepare on our own outside of the college support.
Other: I am from B.Sc.(Hons.) In the Agriculture batch at IES University, Bhopal. In terms of value for money, I honestly feel the course is not worth the fee we pay. The campus is big and well-maintained. For Agriculture, facilities, field visits, and job support are limited. We invest a good amount of money, but the return in terms of career opportunities is not satisfying.

B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2028

Overall, it's all good and nice.
Placements: Usually, we do field work most of the time and have to get ourselves a job on our own. There is nothing about the package as well, as if we went into some kind of training sometime some students also get the opportunity to work there after the training or the internship, and get paid. There are several recruiting companies that I'm not aware of, as I'm just a beginner in the course. My course is a primary source of different career options, it's like the base of the job, as the job offers under agriculture are the sub parts.
Infrastructure: It's definitely good, and we usually have field work as we're beginners. But as the ranking goes up, we do need some good labs, which are definitely offered by the institute. A library is also available in different departments for different courses, as the institute has its own number of students.
Faculty: The course has its own different sub-subjects, which are taught by different faculty in a very wonderful way. They take really good care of the students and clear all the doubts in person as well, in a very efficient manner, which is quite helpful to me.
Other: The main agenda for picking up this course is to explore new fields. As we know, in this generation, people are always running towards IIT or NEET, but I want to explore something different in a different lane.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.8
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
I am not satisfied with this college; the admission and office work are very bad.
Placements: Overall percentage of IES University is 75%. The lowest package is around 2 LPA, and the average package is about 4 LPA. The highest package is about 21 LPA. There are many companies visiting and students are getting placed in companies like Juspay, TCS, Amazon, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good; there are many facilities available in our university such as a library, all labs, and some smart classes, but not all classes are smart. The hostel facilities are good; they are well-maintained and always neat and clean. The mess in the university is not good because the food is not well-prepared for students.
Faculty: Some teachers in the university are helpful and the teaching quality is good, but some teachers do not teach well and students are not satisfied with them. The sessions in the university are very late; they couldn't take the exams on time, which can delay the exams.
Other: According to me, the best things in the university are not that great. They can feel like a school and cannot feel like a university. The uniform in the university is compulsory, and students have to buy the uniform from the university. After market, the same uniform can be bought for 3000, and all must maintain it. Many students face this problem; many students come from middle-class families and cannot afford to buy the university uniform.

It has good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: I graduated from IES University. Around 25% of students got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. 85% of students got internships in companies like IBM, HCL, etc. Roles offered are developer, analyst, and BDE. It is good for career, growth, and success.
Infrastructure: IES University offers Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, modern labs, a rich library, and smart classrooms. Hostels are clean with good food and 24x7 medical help. It has sports like cricket, football, and badminton. Mess and canteen food is hygienic and decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with a practical focus. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty level. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, making it student-friendly.
Other: I chose this course for strong career prospects and interest in the field. The best parts are practical labs and an updated syllabus. Improvement is needed in more industry tie-ups. Campus life is active with fests. It has a good crowd, scholarships, and decent connectivity. It needs strong industry exposure.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2028

Satisfied with the faculty and placement. To be honest our college is the best.
Placements: 50% of students placed last year. There are many companies on campus, and approximately 60-70% of students get internships from the college most of the students are placed by the internship, and even internship which is provided by the college is also paid.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is much better than I had imagined. Classrooms and library are also good and peaceful even the sports faculty and facilities are provided by the college on the next level. Every month sports events are organized by the university and other teams.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and solve every problem the teaching quality is also good and the exams are not that tough because the teachers teach everything. The pass percentage is 33% so it's easy to clear the semester exams.
Other: I have chosen B. Pharma because it has a scope and gives me a chance to become a pharmacist. Events and fest of our college are incredible.

If you have talent then you should be away from this college otherwise most welcome .
Placements: Placements in IES University for diploma students are decent; approximately 60% of students get placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM and Infosys. Internships are not a focus for diploma students.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available. The facilities provided in the hostel are good; they provide a bed, study table, and locker, but the quality of food in the mess is the worst. In my opinion, consider a paying guest accommodation. Canteen and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful if you are regular in college and maintain good attendance. This university focuses on attendance, dress code, and fees; if these are not in order, then you have to pay a penalty. Semester exams are quite easy; you can score 60 percent easily.
