SGSITS Placement Overview 2025

SGSITS placement cell has comprises departmental heads, faculty coordinators, skill development and placement officers. The training and placement cell works along-with the industry partners to offer better placement opportunities to its students.

According to SGSITS NIRF reports 2025, total of 420 students were placed and 98 students were selected for higher studies out of total 704 students during BTech placement 2024. Further, BTech students received median package of INR 7 LPA in 2024. The median package offered during SGSITS placement 2024 for the MBA program stood at INR 3 LPA. A total of 17 students were placed out of 57 students.

The college is excellent, you should take admission.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is about 65%, the highest package offered in my course is 28 LPA, the middle placement package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest placement is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is about 45%, including in Infosys. Top roles offered in my course are AI, etc.

Infrastructure: There are so many labs, classrooms, and a central library for study from morning to late night. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is very neat and clean. The quality and taste of food is hygienic and acceptable. There is a playground for games and a sports complex for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry ready, the semester exams in this college are very difficult to pass, and the passing marks are 22%.

The college is very good for studying.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 60,.the highest package offered in my course is 23 LPA, and the lowest package in my course is 14 LPA. The middle package offered in my course is 17 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the IT branch are Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, and Deloitte. The percentage of students who got internships is 33%, in companies like Infosys, etc. Top roles offered in my course are software developer, AI, etc.

Infrastructure: About 5-6 acres of land are covered for the college campus, and there are labs and classrooms separately for every department for study. There is a central library for study. The quality of facilities in my hostel is very good. There is an RO water cooler for drinking purposes, a playground for outdoor games, and a sports complex for indoor games. The quality and taste of food in my mess are acceptable and hygienic.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful in clearing doubts not only during the class but also after the classes, and they are very well qualified, the course curriculum is very relevant to my course and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not easy, and the passing marks are 70% out of the total.

Placements: About 50% of students are placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 25 LPA, the middle one is 15, and the lowest one is 10. Top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Nike, etc. The percentage of students who got internships in my course is 25, mostly in railway operation companies. The top roles offered in my course are technical.

Infrastructure: In my college, there is a central library for study purposes, and there are many labs and classrooms in each department for their purpose. There is also a whole LAN and Wi-Fi connection. The quality of the hostel is very good, neat, and clean. The food in the mess and canteen is reliable to eat and hygienic. There is a dispensary for medical purposes as well.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very high level. Almost all teachers are from IIT, and they are helpful in clearing doubts and teach very well, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of exams is slightly tough, and the passing marks are 22 out of 70.

The 2023 placement for B.Tech saw 60 percent of students placed with major recruiters including Accenture, Infosys and Deloitte. Infrastructure: There are spacious classrooms for lectures and other academic purposes. Departmental labs for various disciplines, including civil, chemistry computer, electrical, electronics, mechanical, and physics. College is really good and campus is full of greenery.

Placements: There is an improvement in placement for few years. 100% placement rate of CSE and EE. Approximately 70-80% placement rate of other branches. The average package of college is approximately 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest package is 44 LPA. The average placement of CSE is 12.44 LPA.

Infrastructure: Buildings for 1st year are good but for the remaining years, the departments are not so good as college is one of the oldest college of Madhya Pradesh. 1st year hostels are in good condition, hostel of 2nd year hostel is under renovation, and 3rd and 4th year hostels have the same.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. If you attend the class sincerely, then you don't have to worry about your exams. Course curriculum is relevant, and there are changes in syllabus every year. The semester exams are not so difficult.
